I have heard that UAE is the Most Expensive in regard of Accomodation/House Rents (If wrong Please correct me).

Following Types of Accomodation is adopted/available for Expats.

Individual and Family Accomodation.

Individual Accomodation :

Labour Camps , Mostly Companies have Camps for their work force in remote areas of the Emirate like Mussafah , Um-alnar or Alfaya in Abu Dhabi.
Has few categories of accomodation for Workforce classes , like for Labours , For Professionals etc.

Private Accomodation :

Companies having no labour camps give accomodation allowance to the employees.

Bed Space Concept is very common , where one can find his/her community people to live with.

Like If you are Philphino you will be having very little problem in finding Bed space accomodation.

In Bed space accomodation , indivduals share bath room , kitchen and you will hear them always complaining regarding Bath Room and eatings.

Family Accomodation :

Very little companies will give family accomodation/instead they will give accomodation allowance.

Yes , if you are working for some Govt department , you will be awarded with a good accomodation.

In private you can rent a flate (Studio , 1 , 2 or 3 bed).
Otherwise you can avail sharing accomodation in a villa or flate.

In flates you will be Sharing Kitchen and Some time Bathroom too.

In sharing villas , where they will Segregate or make portions of Villas which is illigle but still it is practiced , and given to Couples or small families.

In Remote Residential Areas of Abu Dhabi like Mussafah , BaniYas or Shahama etc Villas sharing concept is very common.

It has become a business also , and some people are doing it , that they will rent a villa for whole year , make portions of it and will rerent it to Few Small families.

I wonder weather it is only in UAE or in Other countries too , like Canada , UK and USA?
