iOS 4.1 is finally available to download, and the new features are what we expected for the most part. What you get out of the iOS 4.1 upgrade depends on your device. iPhone 4 users can take full advantage of the new iOS features, including Game Center, HDR photography and HD video uploading. You also get a fix for the proximity sensor bug, if it affected you. (Yay! No more accidental hangups!) FaceTime also gets an update, allowing you to save contacts as favorites and call 4G iPod touch users.

On the 3GS, you get Game Center, but no HDR photos. iPhone 3G users get a mixed bag, with the promised performance boost that makes iOS 4 usable for the first time on the iPhone 4, but no Game Center. All iOS 4.1 users can take advantage of new TV show rentals in the iTunes Store, but that feature ONLY works with iOS 4.1, which means that iPad owners are out of luck for now.

All in all, it sounds like there's no reason not to update. To start the process, plug in your phone and click on it in iTunes, then find the Check for Updates button. As always, remember to back up your device first!

Yesterday we brought you a few strange images and even weirder videos showcasing an odd BMW. Today, more images have hit the web, proving this is more than a BMW 6 Series with skinny tires and a missing tailpipe. The car may be wearing 6 Series skin from the a-pillar back, but the front is a different animal. It appears to be similar to the face found on the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept vehicle.

There are a lot of ways these "spy shots" can be perceived. The above image and the extremely quiet running sound from the clips certainly led us to believe this car is utilizing a new EfficientDynamics powertrain. This would mean the above mash-up mobile is powered by a 1.5-liter inline three-cylinder diesel as well as a pair of electric motors set on the axles.

A viral campaign complete with dark photographs of a mysterious vehicle? It must be auto show season! The Paris Motor Show is right around the corner and we hope someone BMW will be ready to spill their precision-engineered beans.

Mushroom Networks is the leader in this space and it has announced a new, "heavy duty" version of its PortaBella bonding device, joining its Porcini and Truffle models. The new PortaBella combines the connections of up to four wireless modems, even from different carriers, and works at temperatures ranging from 4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit -- which sadly doesn't quite meet the temperature ranges experienced on an average day at the Engadget Lunar Outpost. I was wondering, since GS is going through major changes right now, wouldn't it be great to have a dedicated Medical section with some gs guppy/gupan doctors where not only gs docts can write their prescriptions but also other members helping people suffering from any common diseases e.g anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Hypochondria, Panic Disorder, Clinical Depression, Specific Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Social Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)..sleep disorders ,fibromyalgia & chronic fatique syndrome ,digestive disorders ,addiction n recovery n rest of the diseases
please select some sweet moderators for ths part rather stereotypes kinda like shak09 in health section ... personally i dont knw but i dont lik him much . Because i really love to participate in this section. i m nt sure but u can select VirgoGirl or sheyn the right person for moderating ths section ... My mom is a doctor so i can help them too :)

Do you have more music and movies on your hard drives than you can squeeze onto your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad? I've got good news! ZumoCast has progressed beyond beta and is now available for download on the App Store!

Grab both the ZumoCast server app for your computer and the mobile app for your iOS device, and you're good to go. There's nothing to configure beyond picking which folders you want to make available for streaming -- ZumoCast takes care of the rest automatically. You don't even need to do any fiddling with your router or firewall software. It's probably also worth mentioning that ZumoCast is totally free.

The app performs quite well over my Wi-Fi connection, but you'll have to tell me about how it handles things on the iPhone -- I'm stuck in an area with only an aging CDMA network to be had. I've never bothered with a streaming app before, but I think I'll be using ZumoCast quite a bit. Hey, if nothing else, I can use it to listen to all the music I don't quite have room for on my iPod.

The ZumoCast server is available for both Windows and Mac, and there are apps for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad.
