Medicine for Baby Sleeping ?

Should we use, so they can have full rest , avoid they not annoy or interrupt us ?
that will be having some side affects , in case those are sereous , then is there any alternate for that ?
or we should simply substantiate patiance with their intermetant sleepings and abundant cranks in our sleeping timings.

Breastfeeding

I breastfed my son for 6 months, then due to having to go back to work after maternity leave I puthim on the bottle.

But he still got eczema and allergies. I thought breastfeeding was meant to protect against this.

Do you think it is because I also have hayfever and eczema?

Alhamdulillah, I'm having a baby girl with due date 10'th of March.
My MIL is quite sure it's a boy and she has even decided the name for a baby boy, but I had scan last week which showed it's a girl....muhahahaha.....
Haven't told her about this, won't do it either.
I can now hopefully decide the name my self and I need ur help for this.

I wan't a short and cute name with a good meaning.
Any suggestion's?

Kids every now n then say things that touch your heart and you feel like jumping, going on moon ...crying etc etc. Dump those here ..... for a starter here is a conversation b/w me and almost 4yo daughter which took place couple of days ago

Background: My family minus myself are going to visit Pakistan soon I have to stay back due to job commitments.

Daughter: baba, we all are going to Pakistan to meet dada

Me: no beta, baba is not going, you, mama and XXX (brother) are

Daughter: aweeeeennn (bad face..pretending to be naraz), why are you not going with us?

Me: I have to go to job everyday, earn money...If I dont go to job, how will we eat, how will you buy toys....

Daughter: When I grow up, I'll do the job and you can go to Pakistan. I'll buy grocery for you...you want chips?

scared child

what do u do with a child who is scared of being around a person at childcare? lets say scared of another child there?

my daughter has always been a very independant person and does not mnid playing on her own at all.. when we're at gatherings with a million bache laug, she doesnt mind playing on her own.. doing her own thing.. which is fine by me.. however, in the past few months i have noticed, if someone accidently touches or bumps into her, she'll start whinging.. its ok for a bit, then it gets annoying..

i know this is happening because of a boy at her daycare. The poor tot is deaf and doesnt understand she doesnt want his hugs..which lead to him hitting her.. and her not wanting to go to daycare. I have also noticed, she makes excuses about tummy aches as soon as shes in the car and has an idea we're taking her there...

she is COMPLETELY fine when the boy is not around

i have notifed the childcare once before.. and asked if they could move her into another room.... it didnt happen... so im going to speak to them about it again

i just dont know what else i can do

I'm a little weary... i didn't even take my girls anywhere in public until they were around 6 months old :bummer:

when someone goes and stays with family or a very close friend around and after she gives birth, what should one do, I mean what kind of help?

I will be staying with my sis who has a 5 years old son and she is due in jan. even though her hubby will help too, but he has very busy professional life, so I really want to be helpful.

On top of my head I am thining cooking, chores around the house, dropping her son off to school, manage the maid wagerah, but is there anything special one is expected to do in terms of cooking wagerah???

ok so i m interested in buyin a nice pair of maternity jeans for myself. i was wonderin if they have skinny jeans in their maternity collection? i m in week 15 rite now... almost 2 weeks away for strtin 5th month. i want jeans that shud last me till the end of pregnancy..
i had 32 inch waist before pregnancy so wot size am i accordin to the US? size 14??? i m plannin to ask my cousin to get me a pair from the US. and i was wonderin how to tell her my size so she buys a gud maternity jeans acc. to that... any suggestions?

So this friend of mine for whom a lot of you suggested names is soon going to deliver her twins inshaAllah...a boy and a girl.

I need to give her a generous gift. However, she has everything they need such as strollers, car seats, storage, clothes, bouncers, swings, etc..etc...

I didn't realize they had been shopping for stuff all along and have now collected pretty much everything. I don't want to give money as I don't want it to seem less or more...so can you all please suggest something nice that I can give them?

Hi guys

my scan is next week inshallah, i cant wait i'll be around 10 weeks.

this is daft but i am starting to think i am carrying twins. does anyone have twins, and what did you feel int he first 12 weeks?

just my son thats 4 was saying mummy one can sleep with u and one with me. then before i told my mum and mother in law iwas preg they both had had dreams about twins. i know i will find out if yes or no next week but this time my pregnancy is totally diff and i have had every preg symptom and this time my body changing far too fast, i had to change bra size but i can't keep it on as i feel suffocated.

pray for me and my family. i have been having scary dreams about dead and disabled people. i have put sadaqah in. usually my dreams are always opposite. i have been listening to surah maryam,

it brings tears to your eyes.
recommended surahs in pregnancy:

surah yasin
surah maryam
surah muhammed
surah yusuf
aytul kursi and 4 qul.

in an islamic book i read the other day it said
have sweet melon for a beautiful child.
Have dates (although in our culture this is classified as gurum food and to avoid til 8 9 months.) but if the islamic book recommends it then it should be fine?

Read ya barru 7 times as soon as your child is born and inshallah they are protected til puberty.

Rash/spots in pegnancy

HI GUYS

Last time during my pregnancy i got little scabs appearing, little with brown heads and if i scratch it it bleeds, and then they disappear, but they leave horrible brown marks. and this pregnancy sam thing is happening again.

I am trying to keep my skin moisturised.
Has anyone else ever suffered this.
I did tell the doctor but they just think its my sensitive skin and didn't think it was anything to worry about, my arms and legs are covered with little brow marks now, becuase i am fair skinned it is more visible to me.

i can never wear a kameez with short sleeves now! :-(
