If you have longish hair, have it out and flowing, just make sure there is plenty of volume... blow dry, do not straighten (i hate flat hair). You need plenty of movement and bounce, so maybe use large barrel tongs or large rollers to add root volume and waves.....and then you could maybe have it down one side.... or some parts tied up .... Some examples:

All the above are thick and voluminous and classy... flat hair is boring, and tied up buns are unecessary for your age
We don't need no education....
Erm, yes you do....you just used a double negative.

thanks guys,
i have dark long hair, so most of the time i have no choice but to leave it down. i don't like updos so much, getting sick of the straight hair look, and already doing curls for one wedding. baaah.Blessed, happy, and content. Alhumdulillah.

personally i like tied up hair with saris...plus i dont know why there is a preconceived notion that tied up hair=looking older.
you be the judge...they certainly dont look old to me
here are some pretty and soft updos.

I like saris with long flowing open hair or a classy chignon.

chignon and loose curls look great...open hair is a bit too casual for weddings...imo...and can get redundant..nevertheless....
pareezay do what looks best...the options are endless..
