Those that have had either one done, please share your experiences. Did you lose more hair, did your hair become dry and brittle? Loved it? I'm looking into getting Keratin done, I can't be bothered to get regular blow-drys now :/

Hey Gina, I was considering the same thing before the shaadi. Keratin is generally beleived to be safer but I have read mixed reviews.

hey Gina..
I ended up going for Yuko as I had already paid a deposit.. reviews seem good for Keratin but it lasts for a few months which is expensive when with Yuko is permanent straightening of the hair
Youw on't beleive how well spend the moulahs were for Yuko.. Love it that i just literally wash and go..yeah but no but yeah but...

I really want to get it done, it'll save so much time but on the other hand.. the yuko and keratin look really flat to me

Plus, you can't do the inward/outward curls as the hair is poker-straight!..all you need is trust and a little bit of pixie dust!

DO NOT GET REBONDING NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. I'M TALKING FEOM EXPERIENCE WHEN I SAY THAT YOU WILL REGRET IT SO MUCH. I LOST SO MUCH HAIR AND IT STILL ISN'T THE SAME. EVEN AFTER 4 YEARS!
[/CAPS lock off]
Okay, seriously. Never rebond your hair. It kills it forever."Creativity and originality lie not in the avoidance of established forms, but in the imaginative use of them"— Some smart wiz.

I've seen good results with the Keratin straightening, the only thing is that the hair looks really really flat to me. With blowdry's you can change the style often, inward curls/outward curls etc. Plus hair is lifted from the roots and the finish is nice bouncy hair.. vs the poker-straight hair. It's just that I'll save-up on a lot of time.

hmphh.. not yet. bt my frnd got rebonding done.. nothing drastic happened except that she got some grey hair later on.. and they did become dry and brittle.
its common sense, if you make ur hair go thru such huge chemical changes..it sure will have a side effect.-*I Destroy my enemies...by making them my Frndz!*

I am thinking about getting Brazilian blowout done for my hair. its going to cost me $400.00 not including tips and the effect is going to last for about 12 weeks. i don't know if its worth it.

Rebonding.. I got it done 2 times in last 5 years. the result was great.
It is permanent but as the hair grow you will need to get it done again.
it makes hair dry and brittle but you can use really good hair oil before shampoo.

yaar in rebonding its straigtening style that made your hair flat,do iron in lifting style, you will have good hair.well
i am doing global keratin in my salon results are extraordinary, hair becomes shiny straight with fluff ,volume and bounce.and also there is repair quality, its formeldehyde free so no tension.so go for it.all you have to care is to use sodium chloride free shampoo.
