I don't have the pics but I have a true story
When I was a child, in elementary school in Pakistan, my abbu/uncles used to wear laachas/dhotis when sleeping at night. I also had a little laacha and was being stubborn one day that I must wear it at night and sleep in it. Well I did wear it and when I woke up the next morning, the laacha was open and I was laying there naked
Also, in elementary school in Pakistan, I played in a few dramas where I had to wear a laacha and I had the pictures but we left those in Pakistan Or I would've posted my personal pics for you, Sorry :topic:

I THINK I KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. IS LAACHA THAT SCARF LIKE THING U WRAP AROUND THE HIP AREA, ALMOST LIKE A MINI SARI? RIGHT? ANYWAY, I FOUND THESE LEHNGA TYPE LAACHAS, IN CASE I'M WRONG.

I don't know what lachaas are.
Gharara has two legs.
Shararas have one leg..
Ghagra also has one leg, but cut differently from sharara.
Lenghas have one leg too -- and are cut on the bias (???).
This site has some explanations of each: http://www.fashion-pakistan.com/index23.htm
but I don't know where lachaas fit in???

Laacha's r similar to dhotis in a way. A sort of a cross between a sarri and a dhoti. It doesn' have a pallu like a sari does. It has pleats in the front like a sari though and the pleats r usually little 'oonchi' so the thing looks a little lifted from the front. It has two tassels hanging from each side aswell. I think.
