no i hate them! i have like two shalwar kameez like that n they make ur butt look huge! I guess thats a good thing for some women? :-s

yeah i can't stand them also....not only do they make your butt look huge they also allow everyone to see the stitching on the shalwar.

Square cuts look best with trousers not with shalwars cause the gathers at the belt seam show. I have worn square cuts since 1995 but then again i wear more of the wide leg pajamas compared to shalwars.

this actually looks like a regular side slit just bent wide open at the side due to her pose. look at the side seam it doesnt have the cut on it and that back length looks shorter than the front which is due to the shirt rising at the back with the dent/bending of the regular slit. Too many funny wrinkles on this shirt, its really not her size

I still prefer Saeed Anwar's square cuts.
