Gina, i do whatever my teacher told me to do while i put eyeshadow...primer, foundation..yada blada...though my eyeshadow looks really nice upfront, i have had people who don't even know me come up to me (desis, whites etc) and compliment my eyes...(Mashallah) even my teacher was like you should be good but don't get better then me but for somereason whenever i take pictures to share with people here...it looks so smokey and greyish..at times colorless...i am going to try the crayon bases whatever they say on the youtube tutorials i hope then it works out well but still i am a bit unsure about using those since if the shades melt by chance it might end up looking sucky..

Teelo, girls are often scared of using color and think it might look OTT. Eyelids are usually darker and need to have an even color before u apply any color (for the color to stay/look the same) Powder shadows work better than cream ones
..all you need is trust and a little bit of pixie dust!
