Are you gyys for real? There has got to be something wrong with me then. I thought the first one was too stark a contrast without a blending line. Must be me!

^^ no thw contrast is a bit harsh.. but it compliments her eyes.. if i did that, it would look liek i drew a rainbow with crayons on her eyes.. but it works on her.

Sara I love the way you use different shades for different effects. Too many girls use the same technique and it gets a bit boring. The smokey effect looks good, but I think blue/green really suits your eyes and the way you have applied it works really well to make your eyes look pretty.
I bet youv been practicing for years!

u need
one shimmery nude eyeshadow shade (beigy, stone, pale gold or taupe...whatever)
one dark shade (deep blue, black, plum, brown)....whatever suits your eyes best. i got indigo from a prescriptives counter....
eye shadow brush, blending brush, angled brush...
mascara
so after cleansing, moisturizing, concealer....use the shadow brush to apply the shimmery shade all over the eye from lash line to brow bone
then use that brush to apply the dark shade from lash line to crease of lid.
Code:
use angled brush to apply the dark shade right under lower lash line not going in the whole way to the inner corner...stop shading before halfway...
dip blending brush into shimmer shade and apply on top of the dark shade and the lower line to lighten and make it look less dramatic. keep on blending to achieve the whole smoky effect. its supposed to look smoky (thus imperfect) so skip eye liner.
then add mascara.

did u buy the brushes from prescriptive?? andt the drections in pink can do i need to do that on the top as well???

People, I can't see any of these pictures cause of the firewall. Please PM them to me.
I'm gonna try Sara's eye make up recipe next week when I'm on holiday, bumming around at home. I can apply liquid eye liner perfectly, that's about it though.

devil dont worry...i struggled with the same comments last year when i tried doing it too... my mom told me kajal doesnt suit me but now when i do it she likes it ?!!?!! keep on trying/experimenting and pretty soon u'll come up with a technique that suits u best. i have a cousin who has been using eyeliner ever since she was like 14-15 and because of that she does her eyes in less than 5 minutes without any flaws...and her eyeliner comes out perfect...
