go for plain one colour base dupatta in a bright hue( navy, red , turquoise.. and a border all 4 sides in a contrasting colour in velvet ( red with green, yellow with purple.. ) .. and liven it u with gots, laces of your choice

A friend of mine wore a gorgeous yellow kara dupatta (the hyderabadi outfit) with very delicate turquise and coral colored kaam. it looked really beautiful on her.
