1. Black Trench Coat
2. Fur. As a dramatic full length coat or if you are not into that, as a trim on jackets and sweaters.
3. Floor grazing dresses (ummmm.... )
4. Oversize and Eye catchy necklaces. even those that go up to your belly!!!
5. Flats out, platforms in! (D'oh! who woulda thought!)
6. Puffy Parkas, in luxe materials like leather and mink (now these i havent seen around much in stores)
7. Heroine Chic ....I guess that means pulling together a dramatic look complete with all accessories...?
8. Slouchy Sweaters ( for those Bloated days )
9. Tulip skirts. kinda puffy balloony skirts...
10. Detailed Shirts(ruffles, lace, embroidery, Billowy sleeves)
peace!

Trench coats are classics that are never really out of style. A few years ago, I got a "French" trench coat that is khaki ... but I have a black one that is more casual that I wear regularly in the Spring and Fall seasons. I love it.
I'm surprised at #10. That was in fashion when I was in Grade 8-9, as were the chunky platforms. I don't like those shoes.

Oh yeah fur is def. in. Ann Taylor has this magnificent fur jacket. Reminds me of deer fur, although I don't know if it is...
Its soooo gorgeous. A whopping 100 dollars.

#7 has been in since the 90s and is hardly anything new. It's just the really skinny and pale female with dark, heavy eye make-up. So you look like a malnourished drug addict.
Lovely, isn't it?

I love trench coats, w/o the belt though don't like the belt at all. And just as i got rid of my dust gathering platforms which i haven't worn in ages, they are back?? Oh well, I wasn't gonna wear them regardless. Heroin chic? I'd look like a case of domestic abuse.
Fur is so not me but I saw this aunty wear this whole furr coat brown/blackish color. It was totally hot, I had my eye on it. When i inquired about it though, she told me she had it stitched! She bought the fur here and took it to Pakistan cuz her brothers have a coat making factory or something. She got it in the style/shape/cut she wanted. It was very flattering to her physique.
Save Pakistan.

^^ interesting. i never thought u could get a stiched fur coat hmmm!
i remember seeing this woman at harrod's in london with an ankle length fur coat (mink)...she was tall and lanky and OH MY GOD SHE LOOKED GORGEOUS! its like instant glamour! i have never seen anyone look so pretty in a huge fur coat. i think the key is to dress in fitted shirt and pants underneath and let the coat flow. i would love to have a long fur coat (faux ofcourse ) but fur trim sweaters are pretty good too...
anybody seen all those itsy bitsy half thingies around these days? something like shrugs but with long sleeves and some ribbon to tie in front but it only comes down to your chest? yeah i've seen those with fur trims and they look hot!
