a hijabi friend of mine is going to a wedding and she is wearing a suit that has the chinese collars. she wanted to tie her hijab in the bandana style. i guess its's the way africans wear it. hope u guys know what i am talking about.
do any of you know how to tie it this way? and give some tips on how to prevent it from sliding. also plz post pics if you come across any.
Jazak Allah Khair

that was my question to her as well. but apparently everything will be covered including her ears.......and the chinese collar will cover her neck. and the suit is loose. so i dunno...perhaps it kills the purpose perhaps it doesnt...i shouldnt be the one to judge since i dont cover myself. also the wedding is separated (all girls) however she still covers because she doesnt feel comfortable taking it off in a public place where she has no control over who might happen to walk in the hall or not.

like there is nothing wrong with being covered and looking good...
btw...an idea is to tuck in her hijab inside her shirt...and pop up her collar..that looks hott...so u can still see the design...i have outfits liek that too..and thats how i wore mine...
and then u have ur dupatta...and u can wear that in a different style...
thats hot.

there is one better way to wear hijab like jordanian people wear it has a head band than a round wale first u wear a band which covers the front part of your head an the next your other half to your sholders its very elegant and the fabroc used in that style is light jersy u can put yors clothing over it it covers perfectly and it really dosent move like hijabs or scarfs u can say
i can send u the info if u want that where u can buy those

I'll let her know. i think she really wants to go with the other look though. I saw this one hijabi girl who wore that african style hijab once with this shalwar suit. she looked so cute mashallah..yet she was completely covered.

i dunno how they wear it like that?
theres also another way...its kind of vogue-ish lool...n e who...if she has a rectangle hijab...or square..and wear it like a normal one...the pieces remaining...she can tie them up...so when it falls on the side...it looks like a tie...thats hot
