Ok People, this topic has probably been done to death like a gazillion times, so I do apologise in advance.

My hair has been falling out excessively for the past year now, and it has thinned out so much - I would say I have lost half a head of normal healthy hair. I don't use any styling products on my hair such as GHD's, blowdryers or hair products etc - Well, I did use to, but it's been over 6months since I last used any. I've been applying various hair oils on my hair such as coconut, almond, and Amla oil for the past 3/4 months. None of these have worked so far, I havent noticed any positive results.
I've already discussed my hair situation with my GP, but he think's it's 'normal'. I'm fully aware that a person can lose upto 80-120 strands of hair on a daily basis, but mine is alot more, and I'm not getting any re-growth. He didn't even bother hearing me out, Bloody idiot, Honestly doctors these days just have no consideration anymore. They don't really take hairloss as seriously as they should. It's no importance to them, which is so frustrating.

My doctor also did some blood tests to rule out any thyriod problems, but fortunately, everything is in good order. Allhumdollillah.

So yeh, Please could anyone tell me about any home remedies I could try out? Some sort of capsules/tablets that can be bought? Anything?

Has anyone heard of Neeta Herbal? Is she any good? Or will I just be wasting hundreds on top of hundreds of pounds on something that isn't going to improve my situation? I've tried numerous products in the past aswell, which have all left me very disappointed. I'm beginning to think that there isn't anything out there that will help me.

So please, if anyone is experiencing problems like these, then do let me know. Also any relevant solutions that you can think of that will overcome my persisting problem. I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Xx

[P.S. Ive been taking Omega 3, and that hasn't really worked either. I know it won't take effect over night....]

One of my friend is having the similar problem but he is more worried than anything because of "complex" that no desi girl will be ready to marry him if he is a ganja.

We tried to take him out of it but with no hope, he is now considering some expensive kind of transplant (costing £20K).

If you still have hair u can try a little "desi tot'ka", buy Extra virgin Olive oil & gently massage ur scalp with reasonable amount of oil. Leave the oil on ur head for couple of hours before u shampoo. Do it at least twice a week, if lucky u will see results after about two months (sorry procedure is slow). Good luck.

Well if he read my first post properly, he would have recognised that it was a sensitive matter. Anyhow forget it.

Someone just delete this thread, Cheers.

Damn, the poor guy only tried to help you out. With a temper like that it's no wonder you're losing hair.

apologies posho, i thought you were a guy, for whom its pretty common and (arguably) less emotionally damaging to lose hair.

hope it works out for you, i know a female in my family had a hair loss problem from taking medication, she used an off the counter hair restoration shampoo and it seemed to help thought not completely. sorry i cant be more specific, because i dont know myself.

Thanks guys. Sorry if I was a bit aggressive in my earlier post. I guess it's just getting to me alot. It's becomign so frustrating. It's like there's no way out.

I've already spent ridiculous money on silly products that claim to help hair regrowth, where in fact, they don't do bugger all.

Anyways, I've just read up on some stuff called..

Thymuskin and Nourkrin. There apparently meant to be very good.

Posho,

I would suggest you go see a dermatologist or endocrinologist for hormone testing.

Have you heard of PCOS? Are you regular? If not, it could possibly be PCOS. Major hair loss can be one of the symptoms, which can be controlled via specific hormone pills. And this is a condition that GP's often overlook.

Hairloss can be the result of hormonal imbalance.

Just my suggestion.
