I c a mid-thigh kurta with short/cap sleeves and a boat-neck/"bay" gala with a plain dhoti shalwar.. oh and orange/ferozi/fuschia/gold churiyan with orange/gold kungroo karay, heavy orange/fuschia earrings, shocking pink stilettos..

CurruptAngel: Nice colour and material indeed! since it is kind of heavy go for simple neckline with a shocking pink or sea green pipen around the neck and sleeves. you can make A line sleeves as well if you are interested in long sleeves. The picture of the gala you posted would definitly go with it,you can add a small single matching tussle at the end of the neckline and that would look fabulous, many types of kaam wale small and large tussles are available in the market

Very pretty material CA
I would go for a a shirt that falls just on or above the knees, the neckline u put up is very pretty, but I would go without the highrise neck in the back, just keep the front cut with shocking pink piping around it. Short sleeves will look cute. If the fabric is soft u can go with the little puffy sleeves too with pink piping in the front.
For the bottom if the fabric is soft go with a less ghair wali khari shalwar and if it is stiff then u can try pants too. If u go for pants then do the straight short sleeves.

I'd make a plain kurta with a choori daar pajama.
The design on the material is loud enough in itself to worry bout gala and asteen.
Keep it simple or it'll look mumbled jumbled.

the designer told me not to go for churidaar coz of the embroidery on the salwar fabric so i just went with plain salwar..
