I am getting some suits tailored and I need some nice, some what fancy, sleeve designs for kameezes. I don't want just the normal straight asteeneh or asteeneh with slits. I'm not sure if I want short or long sleeves ... I just need some nice designs first and then I will know where to go from there.

Please post some pics (close ups if possible).

I got quite a few outfits made, but most were with pretty simple sleeves, some short, some long bell sleeves, and some 3/4 sleeves with a slit. I'll post a few 'fancy' ones I got.

Another one I have is similar to the last one, but it's more circular, and it has ties.

Dreaming

Someone was telling me that at a wedding she went to the bride's sister was wearing sleeves entirely made of beads and you could only tell it was beads when she moved. I thought it might look a bit cheap, but she said it looked really delicate and nice.

I like the second and third too! Hmmm ... short sleeves or long sleeves ... or three quarter length sleeves. Thanks CB.

I would post a pic of the kapra if I had it.

Sahar, I have seen beads and was also thinking of some how incorporating them into the asteen but I yet to find a design I really like. The suit is fairly simple, so nothing fancy like a formal outfit. It's more light party wear, like an outfit I would wear to a dawat.
