I'm looking to buy my walima outfit from Seasons India but I'm a bit anxious about shopping online and wanted to know if anyone here has bought from the website. What has the experience been like, has the product turned out as you expected? The same goes for anyone else who has shopped online, with The Bargello Shop, for example. I would really appreciate your feedback and advice

Yes I have ordered 4 Dresses online from Roopam, Bombay( VERY BIG NAME IN INDIA)..and they all came on time but I was not satisfied with the quality of the material ..the color was different ....even kaam was different Only 1 suit was okay and 3 I had throw em into garbage it cost me so much money and you wont believe that sizes for the pants were all different all 4 of them ..it was very disppointing.. so one of them was way too tight so I couldn't wear it ..the big ones i fixed it ...But the small one I could'nt plus that was the suit that came in okay so i had to tell them to ship me another pant ... they said they wont charge me for the pant but didn't mention anything about shipping charge and I had to pay $60 just for shipping (same courier they used) and when I asked them why I have to pay for it they said oh because of cutom related issues ..Bad very bad Experience Ordering is not worth it what you and what get ...BIG DIFFERENCE TRUST ME no matter who you order it from ..I would never order it online ...ankhon se dekhne mein or computer mein dekhne mein bohot HUGE farak hota hai trust me

im about to shop from 786shop.com for desi casual wear. its better than getting weird color combos from relatives since i can pick what i want. and they have a custom tailoring option where u measure yourself and send that to them so im hoping the fitting wouldnt be a problem. fitting is my main priority followed by color and design....
as for the shipping i plan to get it shipped to pakistan so my father can bring it with him.
some of their stuff is cute (prices are relatively cheaper) and u have the option of adding sleeves, getting churidar/trousers/patiala shalwar and changing neck depth etc...

Hmmmm thanks for the feedback. I was under the impression that as Seasons are a reputable company I wouldn't have to worry about color/size problems but Humera/Humeria/Humaira's experience with Roopam kinda makes me think. The sad thing is that the lengha is very different and I doubt I'll be able to get hold of it elsewhere...booohooooooooo :'(

I have shopped twice from Seasons. My first suit was awesome, everyone loved it, when I wore it. And the fitting was perfect. My 2nd suit had a really pretty design too, but unfortunatly I only wore it once, and then there were 2 holes in the shirt. I asked to give me some kind of discount on it, as I had only wore it once, but I didn't get any. As I still had the dupatta and shalwar intact of the mentioned suit, I ordered the shirt again. Lekin this time the measurements were'n right. Anywayz, I had the shirt fitted, and wore the dress.........So my experience with them was ok.

This one I also ordered, but had it made with short sleeves and a patiyala shalwar. The karhai was very pretty.....I had the kameez made again though, as there were 2 big holes in the first kameez, after only wearing it once....

In the last 8 weeks I shopped for 2 outfits at www.kaneesha.com.
The service was good. The fabric, drape, color and cut for both outfits came exactly as the picture depicted.
The churidar was a bit loose around the thighs and hips and I sent it back to kaneesha for adjustment. It came back in a week and fit well. Amazingly the blouse for the sari fit me perfectly. So, they do seem to pay attention to measurements given.
I have never added an image to my message... so here goes my first try!
