completely depend on everyday? I use covergirl trublends classic beige foundation, rimmel long lasting lipstick and the covergirl pressed powder everyday. They're ok but I was just wondering what makeup you've tried, tested and love.
I used to love wearing mascara so much, but I wear contacts and my eyes are really sensitive now so no more mascara for me.

^what about formal occasions though, what brand of foundation and powder do you wear? is etude a brand of lip color?
I love how eyeliner looks but since I wear contacts, I don't think it's possible for me to wear any eye makeup like eyeliner or mascara. Do you wear contacts too?

Etude is a pakistani brand, its kinda high end over there (i think)..
erm i always put on a bit of lancome powder (matte buff 2) and pencil in my eyebrows and a hint of mascara and vaseline on the lips..these are all the minimum..depending on mood, ill put on kajal or eyeliner or eyesahdow, blush, lipstick/lipgloss etc. but lately i been cutting back on powder an dblush, bsically any thing that goes on my face..

you should be able to wear eyeliner and mascara with contacts, i have very sensitive eyes also but they do tolerate makeup with contacts
everyday-- kajal and chapstick; concealor under the eyes if i have my contacts in
dress up-- depends on mood, basically little bit of everything

asimaan, that's really good news for me . What brand of mascara do you use with contacts? I heard that Loreal has one that is contact lens safe but i'm not really sure about it.

i actually do use loreal- i use lash architect, i've used both waterproof and the normal one they are both nice, but you have to be really careful with the waterproof ones to make sure you remove all the mascara at the end of the day, otherwise its bad for ur skin and also could prevent wadu
i've also tried other mascaras but its been a while and i dont remember which ones. if you are thinking of buying one, just check on the back of the package for ophthalmologist approval

I wonder if I can buy these pakistani products at a desi store in the US. I also heard about MAC something, it's foundation and it's supposed to be really good. That's what somebody on Gupshup said .
I never tried Lancome products before. I might see how my skin likes it first. I need a change.

Mallika if you're in the USA, you can always buy something and return it if the color isn't right, or especially if you get an allergic reaction. I know Rite Aid and CVS do that, since they dont allow you to test in the stores. You can even do this at Macy's, if you don't like the color or certain products that you're not allowed to try on or you get a delayed reaction, you can return.
Most higher end makeup brands like loreal, revlon, clinique, almay, covergirl, estee, mac, etc are pretty safe for contacts and sensitive eyes.

Normally i just put kohl and eye liner with lip butter
at get togethers i just wear light brownish makeup
at weddings and other parties i put a bit bright eye color shades (matching my clothes) with colored lip gloss - and blush as well.
Edited post:
oh you have to tell the brands you use as well - well then i mix it all up,
i am into using:
MAC,
Clinique,
Annabelle,
Loreal,
Maybelline,
Versace,
Nepoleon,
I.D. Bare Minerals,
Avon,
The Body Shop,
etc etc
( i like collecting makeup more then using it )

erm ok.. mascara is loreal or lancome.. lipsticks/lipglosses go from clinique, maybelline, loreal, and lancome.. eyeshadows are mac and covergirl.. blush i rarely use, but i have one fro lancome, its 4-5 yrs old though and nowhere near finished..think i shud throw it out, not sure.. aside from face powder, all my lancome stuff r from free samples. I have wayyyyy too much makeup, and its not like i cake my face w/ it every single day that i look like a monster..i dunno i jus tlike having every single color

Mostly it's just lip gloss. If I'm in the mood, some black eye liner.
