I don't know where to post this question so I'm posting it here since it is the health board: is it harmful to hold babies in front of computer screens? Some people have told me not to do it but they don't say why.

well tv, and computer put out a mild form of radiation, but unless you're holding the baby in front of the computer 24/7 i don't think it should be a health concern, the other thing might be the light which could be harsh to the babies eye's, but then again so can any other kind of light. Just ask the people who told you not to do it why they feel that way.
