Humm, i find that drinking Saafi - the blood prifier helps. Also, plenty of water, good diet, and Vitamin C helps. Other than that, a good Concealer - like Clinique or Avon if you want a lighter natural cover-up.
To actually remove and get rid of, you can try a mask of lemon juice and honey as it contains astringent properties which may help. Also, i love the Body Shop's 'Sage & Comfrey Blemish Gel' - available in Uk, excellent product!
Hope that helps.

I prefer Rimmel's Liquid Eyeliner as it's got a fine nib and glides on easier than any others i have used. (Remember, just because a brand is more expensive that does not mean that it will perform better).
If you dont have a steady hand and are quite new to this kind of make-up - then i would suggest that you try using a pencil eyeliner first - two of the best brands around are Avon's Glimmerstick and Calvin Klein's pencil eyeliner.
Try applying the liner by looking down into a mirror and if you want a sixties flick at the end, best way to achieve it is by looking into the mirror at a side angle.
Once you get the hang of applying pencil eyeliner i would then start experimenting in the same way with the liquid eyeliners.
Hope that helps.

Hiya,
I'm actually from UK, but i have been to Pakistan and have tried some of these creams. I find that these creams are quite harsh especially for ppl with sensitive skin.
As i have tried and tested these, i wouldnt agree that they give you fair skin - its just a temporary measure that makes your skin appear a little fairer but it all goes back to normal once you stop using them. Also, these creams are quite oily and greasy and can make ppl come out with spots/acnes, thus making condition of skin look worse.
Infact they do not give any kind of glow to skin - it's far better for you to use natural products, like honey directly on skin - also if you use the ubtan mixture, which is made of haldi, that helps to give a golden glow to skin, but again it's not a permanent glow.
I would say best thing for glow on skin is a good diet, vitamins, plenty of rest and lots of water.
Hope that helps.

Hiya,
Again you would need to follow the advice given in my earlier postings about a good diet, vitamins, rest, and lots of water - which will all help.
However, to permanently remove such marks you would need surgical treatment but again i wouldnt recommend that. I would just suggest that you use a good concealer for cover-up.
The small holes as you describe caused by the removal of blackheads will take time to heal. It depends where you had your treatment done from, as some ppl who offer this treatment are not professionals and actually end up damaging the client's skin due to lack of knowledge.
I think if your skin has been in that condition for a while, you should consult a doctor as your skin tissues may have been damaged and may require some medical treatment to heal it up.
Hope that helps.

Hiya,
As mentioned in earlier posting - i love the Body Shop's Sage & Comfrey gel, available in the UK, really helps.
Also, applying a mask which contains lemon will help as it has astringent properties. And you can also try steaming as that opens the pores so that any clogged up dirt is removed, thus preventing new spots from occuring.
Some ppl suggest that you apply toothpaste directly on any major spot/blackhead as it dries it up - but whatever you do make sure you have a good routine of cleansing your skin.
The steps are to first cleanse your skin, then use toner to seal the skin, and last of all apply some moisturiser. However, some ppl have naturally oily or combination skin and dont really need moisturiser, so if your skin is of that type just cleanse and tone at morning and night and limit your moisturiser to morning use only.
Hope that helps.

2gd2btrue,
I live in Uk, so i personally love Boots own brand Cleanser and Toner collection, they have the fragrance-free cleansers as well as the fragranced ones. And the products themselves are very mild, but effective, and also dont cost as much as other brands.
Hope that helps.

Mysterious Woman!
I have killer black circles under my eyes and I dont know how to get rid of them. I get reasonable amount of sleep and I cant go out without applying a concealer... i use MAC (which makes the area look grey after application!!).
It makes me look run-down and tired 24/7.
Ive tried using Loreal's under eye corrective cream but all it seems to do is add shimmer to the under eye area, reflecting the light... causing a bright illusion rather than fixing the problem.
Pls help?

Hi Foz-eee-ah (like ur nick btw)
You've got d smae problem dat most asian gals have nowadays - its all due to lack of sleep and bad diet.
First things first improve ur diet, take appropriate vitamins if required, get plenty of sleep and drink loads of water.
Then try applying some eye cream (Avon do a great one, but cant remember its name) twice a day in gentle patting motion.
Also, try cooled cucumber slices and also give used teabags a try - trick is to place them on eyes and relax for 5-10mins at least three times a week - i know this helps releive the tired, puffy look.
Another thing that really helps dark circles is the 'eye massage' technique - you basically tap the 'under eye' are with your index fingers gently, this circulates the blood flow to the eye areas whichin turn helps the area look brighter and fresher. Do this for a few minutes at least twice a day.
And cover-up wise, Mac products are not all that - the colours of variety they have available are great, but i find their foundations and concealers dont really suit asian skin - they, as u say, make the skin look greyyish in colour. You should instead try the Clinique Concealer - i use a dab of it daily under my eyes, and it gives excellent coverage, without looking cakey and actually lasts all day. However, remember you should always seal any concealer/foundation with a dusting of pressed powder - i particulary like Rimmel's brand for this as it's a matte finish, lasts all day and doesnt look powdery.
Another thing which takes attention away from dark-circles are perfectly groomed eyebros and good skin condition. Threading for eyebrows is highly recommended for a good shape and for good skin, u shuld have a good cleansing/toning routine, treat urself to a monthly facial at least and maybe bleach your face once in a while to give it bit of a glow.
Hope that helps.

I think theres lots of varieties of ubtans and methods of makin it - but one simple one is to mix haldi, wesan (gram flour) and touch of oil together - apply on face/body by rubbing in circular motion, then let it dry on skin and wash off whenever u want.

"Self Image"
As I look in the mirror
I question myself
I look at my eyes and see how beautiful they are
I glance at my face and hair like a hawk
And my outfit to find perfection
Beauty is only skin deep
Two dimples and yes even a few pimples
Staring back at me
I see a nice young man
looking back lovingly
I can’t help to smile and have pride.
Some things can be changed
But oh well
I love who I am and no one can ever change it
