Has anyone made one?
I wanted to but was unsure what fabric to get, i had some fabric today that the tailor said it was too flimsy fabric for a nice "pant"
now here's the question the capri silwar is cut like a pant? i thought it was a bit more narrow than a pant...also what fabric can i get that woudl be sturdy enough? i'm so bad at buying fabric...and don't have any family here to ask.

Raw silk would be an excellent material for any kind of trouser/shalwars.

hahaha,
i'm in Dubai right now....which is why i can get capris made, in pakistan niether my in laws or my family would be ok with the capris.
i was looking for some light cotton summer suits with a biege and one white silwar that were capri but at this point i may just buy pant fabric get it made and put the top on it...rather than buying a suit fabric...but it would look cuter. The tailor did say thicker fabric so the pant would "kara" and the fold would come nice.
