Can you take them back to the shop to get a price adjustment? Most stores will allow that if you buy something and within a certain amount of time (say, 14 days) if that item goes on sale, they can refund you part of what you paid.

Do you usually wear whatever you want and throw on an abaya or just wear long, loose clothing? Because if you just wear an abaya, you can wear the dress alone But if you don't, you can probably wear hte dress over hte jeans and a sweater on top, just like shalwar kameez. Just make sure the dress is not very long. Also, i'm not sure about UK but in US, long shirts/short dresses can still be found in every store and they look great with jeans/slacks.

Thanks.....the picture of the dress is not doing justice to the item.....in reality it is about 3 shades brighter.

The dress isn't too fitting or too loose so as you've said I'll wear it with jeans and that white cardi....and without abaya.
