Ok, so although I have kept long nails in the past, I rarely keep them that way for a very long time.
when I do, I like and appreciate the look of it, but I don't have the patience to keep them all filed, sparkling and pretty at all times. I usually break them up to the quick in about a month - 2 months.
right now too, my nails are small in size. But I'd like to grow them, and maintain the length and life of my long nails.
so I was looking for tips that would help in avoiding breakage, ensure healthy, glowing nails, and generally help in the maintenance of them.
thank you.

Sally hansen has clear nail coats in different formulas to promote growth, fortify strength and the sorts. And when applied the nails get a nice shine and look neat and healthy too.

manicure your nails every few weeks, u can do it yourself too. just soak them in warm water for a while and push back the cuticles, massage with almond oil or olive oil (it works wonders for hands and nail growth). also your diet is very important since hair, skin and nails reflect how healthy you are. take vitamin b complex supplements (esp for biotin)

^ yes, I'd swear by olive oil too.
hair and skin are not a problem; I'm just not patient enough to allow my nails to remain long and I usually end up breaking them.
thank you girls : )
