Cottonbud Usage!

I constantly have a cotton bud in my ear - most prob twice a day. My ears arent dirty - i just like the feel..it feels soooo good! I know using a bud pushes the wax down and its not good to use one all the time. My husband is depriving me of the buds

and says that its not a good idea to have a bud in my ear and its good to have some wax...

Please can someone shed some light on this?

P.S - My husband thinks im strange that i do this and he wants me to break this addiction BUT WHHHYYYYYY???

really, who wants to see their wife with two white sticks poking out of their ears all the times lol

be a paki and use a baalouN ki pin instead :AID:

I was the biggest edict on the planet, left cotton in my ear 3 times wet to doctor twice.
Now I don't do it any more. thank you God

I just don't keep them at my house.

My husband doesnt mind but then again, he doesnt even notices half the time! Its actually one blue and one pink cotton poking out of ears..

I know when it gets really bad and i am looking for a bud yet cant find one, i try to use toothpick on the walls of my ears, its that sensation which is so brill...i know yuk! But its

I love that "ohhhhhhhhhh" feeling...sometimes, i just stand there for at least 5mins with a bud in my ear...

yeah, and on top of all that, the movie waala deliberately makes a recording of you!

i know someone who was picking thier nose and the camera waala recorded everything

and u have one pink and one blue.... aren't the blue ones meant to be for your husband!!! or was that part of the mehr u got (j/k)

Actually it is very dangerous,one of husband's friend was doing that and suddenly he heard a voice in his ear and his ear was bleeding and then they went to emergency and it took some time to heal up.So be careful its nothealthy to do these things.

Alright its getting badddddd!!!

I need to have a GOOD medical reason on why i shouldnt use cotton buds too much..

Guys, i was in bed last night and i had this huge urge to use one - my husband said no - as soon as he went out the room, i jumped out the bed, grabbed one and got into bed again.

That feeling was absolutely wonderful, :biggthumb. He comes into the room and sighed and said NOT AGAIN!!

Its an addiction peeps! Help!!!!!

ok dont do it coz it will give u a horrendrous ear infection , i also have this addiction and last year i got an ear infection which was the worst infection ever . my doctor told it is because i have been using too much cotton bud and removing all the wax meant that my ear from inside went all dry went all dry and started cracking . ok now this pain was bad it extended to my jaw and i couldnt eat for a week.

i have had it again this year tooo. i know it is very staisfying but trus me i think my right ear has never been the same after the infection .

reason 1: the cotton fibers are left in your ear, and bacteria can grow around those fibers, and give you an infection, that can make you deaf. think about growing fungus in your ears

reason 2: the wax helps catch the bacteria and dust and other nasty stuff, which if it gets in your body can not only give you a terrible ear infection, but can also make your nose and throat unwell.

btw the ear wax is self draining. it means after a while, just like phlegm goes in your tummy, so does the earwax (not sure if it goes in your tummy). so constant cleaning of earwax is not necessary.
