How do you give a toddler a haircut, without having to give him a baldy in the end . . .
My 11 month son has curly hair and it was getting a bit long. We only wanted to trim it, since the hair in the back was thick.
Anyways he kept moving, so accidentally cut of a thick chunk of hair...and ended up trimming his hair pretty short. We were using those hair cutting machines for men..which are safe so no cute given to baby, but how do u guys cut your baby's hair?

We took each of ours to a barber. Baby sits on Mom or Dad's lap and they typically have toys that light up or spin etc for baby to look at while haircut is going on. We went to one thats used to doing "baby's first haircut" and they even saved a lock of hair in a little baggie and stapled it to a little certificate with the date. It was really cute.

We are still doing that because my son hates hair cut.
