people change in physique due to many reasons, simple and natural ones : over or less eating. or sadentry living or very active.
how soon do you lose or gain weight? what greatly affects your weight loss or gain?
share is you like.

oy vey, what a touchy topic! it takes me forever and lots of hardwork in the gym and tons of eating healthy before i lose weight. i lost around 7 pounds prior to my wedding after 3 months of working out (gah!) and then i lost another 3 pounds on my honeymoon from all the sightseeing/walking we did. and guess what? 3.5 months after the wedding, i feel like most, if not all, of it has come back! wahhhhh!
why is it so hard??? dammit.
so im back on my eating healthy program and though i have no time this month or december, what with christmas and eid coming up, hopefully in jan i'll be able to head back to the gym.
basically, i need to be very active in order to budget "the last 10 lbs" or forget it.
everyone needs to wish me luck!

one way to keep slim : drink a lot of water and when ever satiety for hunger hits, snack on peeled carrots or chilled yogurt. yoga really helps when you stretch and do yoga regularly.

yeah thats good advice in theory but when its -20 outside and you want comfort food, cold carrots and yogurt doesn't cut it :P
i find this extreme aversion to salad in the winter-- does anybody else feel that?
i prefer sandwiches on weight watcher's bread... put some tuna, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, and a wee bit of butter or light mayo, goood stuff!
even better is kabab's with timatar ki chutney! so yummy and if you make it yerself, you can control what goes in it.

brisk walk/run in the morning regularly for 20 minutes everyday, and make your meals regular in calories only what you are prescribed to have according to age, weight, height, exertion level and gender.
yoga in the evening for 1/2 hr.
you will see, that your metabolism will get better and you will tone up and trim down. :>

i am tall..and healthy..not fat..but i guess thick..
the only part of my body tht i see change in(losing/gaining) fat is my face..
my face is round..so i know when i am tensed abt something my face just goes all down and sad
and when i am happy..my cheek bones(fat) pop out and i just look healthier
i gained weight after moving here from pak and now i feel like its a part of me..and i cant lose it..i really dont even want to..but i dont want to gain anymore fat

gain very quickly, but lose really slowly. not that it doesn't go away, but i have to strictly watch my diet. no more icecreams and candy and soda. that sugary stuff goes bye bye.

you said it right, Khumar.
the sugary stuff does add on.
ice creams, cookies, chocolates, carrot helva, cakes, cream puffs, sheer maal, rogni-naan, and even meetha paratha. working it all off, will help. we need to balance in take of food with exertion.
best,
Dushwari

I only loose weight...
A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?

God! I wish I was fat! It's so hard for me to gain weight! and for some reason I feel that it's harder to gain weight then to lose it...As you can change your eating habbits and go to the gym..you ll get some result (although my mother and sister greatly disagree)
BUt when it comes to putting weight on..You can eat anything in the world but it's not going to work unless your body feels like it!!
Any tips?
