karma has a store in dubai- the address is on their website- www.aterlierkarma.com
other than that, be sure to hit up bur dubai for all the desi stores for clothes and jewellery... they have a fab selection!
and definitely go to the gold souk- it looks like a big train station from the outside- you can't miss it!

forget the designers. u will have a great time shopping for unstiched cloth in dubai...it is to die for. they have some really unique pieces that are basically used to make gowns and dresses but you could incorporate them into a desi outfit and it would rock. have fun and dont forget to go skiing! lol!

I don't like ANY of the fabric shops here..the colors our loud and made for "galabaiya's" or dresses these people wear..with huge flowers etc! I love the whole co-ordinated shalwar, kameez and dupatta material.

I dont know about you guys, but not all the fabric designs are awful. Everytime we go to the middle east, tahts where we get our three piece suits from and everyone comments on how different and unique they are (both in Pak and here). The quality is great too.

I dunno I've never really come across anything unique or different yet. It's all orange and green..with bold prints and BAD dupatta's that don't even seem to go with the rest of the outfit =( The shops I end-up going to happen to be Pakistani..
