I see what you're saying. Maybe I'll email them and ask them to fix it.
Thanks!

you are welcome. Also, if you can manage to get your shalwar kamezes stitched from where you are than do try GulAhmed because this season they have come up with some really interesting prints.

Sobia's were Rs 14,00 and she had her exhibition @ P.C on 24th and 25th...i know i realised 2day that i missed it . Maria B's should be around the same price range.

I have ordered a few from gulahmed lets hope i get them lol , i have been told that ppl have gone crazy for their prints this year and that they some of the prints are limited edition.
a bit dissapointed they have increased their prices this year maybe because of their chiffon dupattas.... in comparison even sobia nazir's and maria b's are relatively more cheaper compared to gul ahmed i wonder why that is ?????????????????????????????????????????
i have contacted sobia nazir on facebook...and even her suits r limited edition and only sold in her exhibitions too bad....maybe she will also sell them online but for that she has to look into depending on the demand....
2250 for a gulahmed i think is a bit riddiculous...but what to do they r fabuloussssssss

yes indeed they are selling like hot cakes like i mentioned b4 i went to get some but had to come back with only one because the crowd was going mad lol and i cudnt take it...and now i am afraid that tomorow when i plan 2 go there again i might nt be able 2 find all the prints that i wanted. This time there is no doubt that their prints are really very nice but ya prices are quite high considering lawn suits are usually discarded after one season use. But mohsin (fashion critic) was on some show and when asked abt the lawn prints prices increase he said it is because of the recent increase in petrol n other things.

^ hmmm realllyyyyyyyyyy i have worn my gulahmedlawn suit from last year only once and some of the prints i bought last year arent even worn... but thats maybe because where i live i dont wear shalwar qameez everydat at work or whenever i go out.
Man the fashion in pakistan changes so fast that before having my suits stitched another prints/style/ designs are out...
i have asked a friend who lives in karachi to get me some of the prints, will these years prints be only available at gul ahmed & ideas flagship stores or also at shops like portia and other fabricstores where they sell the original branded gulahmed suits along with others/?
coz i got mohammad farooq and vaneeza ahmed at portia and not from exhibitions???
Hmmm sobia nazirs lawn suits are really nice and more reasonable priced despite petrol and fuel prices...
Anyway maham u r lucky to live in pakistan.lol...so some of the prints are almost sold out ? wont the make any reprints of the better prints ....hmmm i am slowly turning into a fashion victim!

so u mean to say u wear a print only one season ????
or is it because of the durability of the fabric itself?

LOL! Well its not just in pakistan but everywhere the designers have new prints/collection for summer/spring & winter/autumn. And trends too change every year. But i understand what you are saying because there are time i make so many suits and dont end up wearing half of them and than next season i dont feel like wearing them. The best solution should be that even if you end up liking many prints do get them but maybe keep some unstitched for next season. As far as i know GulAhmed is gonna have their prints only at their stores but i am not 100% sure about it.
I missed sobia's exhibition I have no idea how were her prints but i was eager to see them as she happens to be an ex student of my college and i feel really nice when some1 from one of us makes it big .
And yes i am indeed very lucky to be in Pakistan...Lahore but not only for these reasons :P LOL!. I am assuming they are going to run out of their prints soon but if they are smart enough they would have another production. And believe me you are not the only one who is a fashion victim...when i went to their shop i was like arghhh what do i get? what do i not get? lol how do i decide? lol...hehe especially since most of the ones i liked were Rs22,00 which is not much for you people since you will be paying in $. LOL! And than i know i wl have to get my chiffons too from my fave place and than a trip 2 Saleem Fabrics is on hold and just yesterday i saw their poster which said Rizwan Beyg has designed for them this season so now i m sure this season i m gonna be robbed of whatever money i have LOL..

hmm well its not that much about durability as it is about the fact that when new and prettier prints are out in market who wants to wear the old ones :P LOL...dats y i think one should make less clothes every season but somehow that neva happens . BUt if i like a print i wudnt mind wearing it for 2 seasons....and infact i just found one of my shalwar kameez which i m just luvin as the lawn is of such good quality it feels you arent even wearing anything lol...so ya i wouldnt mind wearing it all over this season.
