I have had laser hair removal sessions twice on my face (chin and upper lips) and it seemed to work wonders. You have to wait for a particular growth cycle before you do it again - usually 4-6 weeks. Apparently, after about 5 sessions of treatment, the hair stops growing for ever. Has anyone had the full treatments and does it actually work?
Suggestion/comments appreciated!

just for one time? b/c it like she said you need to get it done 5-6 times in order for your hair to go away forever.
also, i heard that laser hair removal has side effects..is that true?

i have said this before but i feel strongly about this so i'm saying it again.
PLEASE READ THIS FORUM BEFORE CONSIDERING 'PERMANENT' HAIR REMOVAL.
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that shouldn't be taken lightly. There are places that seriously want to help their clients and invest in good equipment and others that just want to take your money.
You need to know what you're getting into before you start - find out about what equipment is being used and the experience of the person using it.
ALSO, laser hair removal is NOT usually recommended for the face. I'm not going to waste my time typing why here - just read the forums. HOWEVER, it can have amazing results where the hair is dark and coarse - underarms, bikini.
IT is worth researching thoroughly because the side-effects from Laser are significant and can be permanent - hyperpigmentation and scarring, even induced growth (on the face).
I know quite a few people who blindly went for treatment on their face, at the least they were still having treatments 2 years later and spent a bomb, at the worst some have permanent scars that they need to keep covered with makeup.

I'm half way thorugh a course of IPL laser treatment on my face, so far the results have been pretty dramatic and I'm beginning to wonder whether I'll actually need the three treatments that I have left since there's very little hair growth left at the moment.

brit chick its nice to know it worked out for you but was your hair really fine? or coarse? i know it depends on skin tone and results vary.

Maybe instead of having the rest three laser, get electrolysis. It will be more effective.
