hi cuties! well i need a new haircut, badly. first my hair is long, flat. and i dont even know which way to part it to look good my forehead is kinda small so its hard to do something like a side swept bang as it just sits so on my face due to my small forehead!
help me with any pics or advice for how to do/cut my hair.
here are pics of me with my hair right now:

you have gorgeous hair so i'm guessing you wanna keep it long?
i think just a trim and longer layers to give some more interest to the length. or you can keep the length deadly straight (that looks awesome on long hair but you need a really good hairdresser who knows how to get it like that properly) and some graduated layers at the front.
i'll post some pics when i get home.

what about getting layers put around ur hair to get that volume and a 'semi side fringe' that kins of goes into your layers. In the meantime, try blowing your hair dry upside down (head that is) and then hair spray it once done, again upside down. or putting some rollers in before going out and hairspraying them? has any one got pics of shilpa's entry into Big Brother UK, her hair is what im kinds saying. google it PF see if her entrance pics of Big Brother comes up, she was wearing a green/pink sari.

^Rollers will definitely help bring volume to the roots but Shilpa has thick and very layered hair which i think is a huge contributing factor.

but i think PF's hair isnt thin - could be wrong! it looks thin as its all one length with no shape to some extent, layers and curlers will increase the volume.

yea, it does look thick - i thought you meant rollers for the time being til she has it cut! in which case it won't be quite as voluminous without the layers.

You have beautiful hair... If I were you I'd just get a few soft layers and that's it.

Pakifairy you have beautiful hair... i'd suggest you to get some layers at the front and you are good to go... also ask your hairstylist for some suggestions.... I usually ask the hairstylist if X would look better or Y... and i let him decide which would suit me better...

pakifairy; either i would curl the hair from the bottom. that ill look amazing on u i think. or i'd just layer from the fornt starting at hte shoulder. i dont think bangs is good for u bcs ur forehead is small as it is.
by the way, i luuuv ur hair. its just gorgeous and the length and its heaviness suits u .
good luck

PF how about side-bangs, I think that'll look nice and some layering at the crown to give more volume.

I think you should go for side bangs and layers at the back. Till last month, i had below shoulder hair all of equal length. I went and got side bangs! The look totally changed, everyone kept asking me from where did i get the cut. I believe it suits me and im pretty sure it will suit you too. I cant find the actual picture i took with me, but the front look is pretty much like this now. My hair is now shoulder length (longer than the pic shows). Overall, it gave a totally fresh look. I think you should keep your hair length long but in layers and the front with side bangs

Seems like you have had it long for a while now, how about something that barely touches your shoulders. It would look good and make your desi and western clothes stand out more. Adding layers to long hair is not a big change.
Google Eva Longoria shes the hair guru.

It's really hard to let go of long hair though! I had beyond waist length hair and i really wanted to do something different but i wasn't prepared for a huge change so initially i just had it cut to chest length with longer layers (so if i didn't like it, it would be much easier to grow out). but i loved having it 'shorter' so then i went through a series of much shorter and completely different haircuts!
