I happen to be in Pakistan for a wedding (last month) and during that course had opportunity to be in upscale (so called bazaars of Lahore).....
I have seen a trend over there that girls have started abstaining from wearing any panties...not that I was looking at it..but as you know it is second nature to be very observing......
I can understand that due to scorching heat they wear light clothes but that is totally unacceptable to stoop to that level of besharmi......
Where is our society heading for...first it was higher salwars, lower necklines, then clothes got finer...and see through was in style thing.....then sleeves went away...and now panties......is Lahore gonna compete with Rio in next five years.......

I know that aunties in old ages do not wear..but with high shirts and high slits and if they are wearing shalwars with are just like mini trousers (hideous designing) and if they sit without paying attention to their angles ...it is not difficult to get to see what I saw......
Anyways, if it is a norm then I should not be surprised....I thought what I saw was sumthing really really shameful..but as Saadia has said ppl there dont wear much....huh....but it looked obscene to me...

Good God! Stop sending your weird topics all the time. Lahore girls don't do things like this if they do there are hardly any .. and stop staring at girls like that for God's sake! Already boys are enough to do an X-ray scan and now girls too!

haha, these topics are so weird but i can't help laughing.
but to all you gals who are accusing her of looking too closely to be able to be seeing this i think it's kinda unfair, coz some girls do put everything on display and they know it too. im in the UK and every summer my cousin is telling me how some girl or other turns upto college in the thinnest lawn outfits and everything is on display and all the guys are going around with their tongues wagging. and if they are going around with tiny kameez's on a lawn shalwar ain't gonna cover anything.
i've been on umrah in the middle of summer and women from every country in the world were wearing an abaya or some kind of proper covering and then you see these groups of pakistani women wearing just their thin lawn shalwar kameez's and a chadar that doesn't cover much past their butts and everything below is on display.
i think there should be some kind of minimum thickness for lawn that is allowed to be sold. lol.

matter is not about thickness of lawn...it is how it is sewn and if it has no layers then it is bound to happen......it is only sensible mind that can understand that how one is looking...and being sensual is one thing while being cheap is another thing...
But there has to be distinction that what looks stylish and what looks obscene.....its not about wearing transpaernt things and they wil become upscale... it is how one carries.....
but I m still amazed at the number of girls doing it, if it was one incident I would have thought it as one off...but seriously either I m out of touch with styles in Lahore or they have gone insane.......nuthing against lahore...maybe other cities are such too.....but i happen to visit Lahore only.....
DaffyDuck...I know what you are saying, its not that my stares prompted them to do that...it is other way round.....so it is obvious that those acts are not random but deliberate.....
Citrine and stylo...if it was a joke...it is not very good...I am pointing towards something which IS happening in areas like Defence Y Block, M Block Market, Liberty.....so if you consider those areas "other bazaars" then it just shows your thoughts.....

someone should hire salz at the US airports instead of spending millions of dollars installing machines that see through clothes. bet that would be her dream job.
