Its hubby's surprise bday on sat inshallah...and i am debating about my makeup...
How about pink eyeshadow with a bit of sparkle in it? I want to wear my sparkly pink shoes with it too...would that be ok?
Also should i wear the dress with my jeans or black trousers?
Now Scoot!

^ Eheheh @ a guy giving make-up advice... Though, I must admit that using brown instead of black is a really good idea.

Your make-up doesn't necessarily have to match with your outfit. However, you have to keep in mind that the eye shadow & lipstick colors should definitely COMPLIMENT the color of your dress.
Dark browns pretty much go with all colors... I think. I think (brown) smokey eyes will go well with grey. But then again, it's all a matter of personal preference.

i'd do lilac... its complimentary to your pink shoes and to the grey, and its a really fresh look. maybe a bit of grey, a touch of silver, and sheer lilac. try using purple mascara- i have one and i love it! it takes about three coats but it gives a really nice subtle tint to your lashes, not all out clown makeup.
also i'd do dark jeans. and if you can, silver shoes. you can also do sheer pink toes and fingernails.

Make it a blended shadow with greyish blue on lids and silver or natural pink overall. Highlite with white. Smoky eyes are the way to go with grey dress anyway check a few pics of the models with smoky eyes on internet and learn yourself. Practice it a couple of times and you will be well able to do it for urself.
