What are the types of facials?
Can we do facial at home? not the proper steam thing but
What products can be used for facial?
Today i went to get my blackheads removed - the woman there used something powdery in which she added some solution mixed it up and put the paste after which she put some paper strips and WOALA! the black heads which never came out with the help of the strips came out with this thing..does anyone know what it is? the name of the product?
Any other details which i should know...which can be helpful for girls about to get married etc..
PAKISTAN not only means freedom and independence but the Muslim Ideology which has to be preserved, which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which, we hope other will share with us. Mohd. Ali Jinnah.

You need to contact the spa and ask the woman who gave you the facial what products she used. It's part of the service to help you recreate the feeling at home.

I'd say stick with what you were told product wise. If you want to try other products, seek another esthetician at another salon I guess. Then you can see what they use on you.
But my motto is, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." If the products work, don't seek other ones. There's no need.

i say dont do 2 many facials on u r skin. u r young im assuming since u said 4 gurls give advice 2 those bout 2 get mrrd. when they do facials they use chemicals. just steam ur face at home nd exfoliate it like once a week with washcloth rubbing gently in circular motion. also u can try to remove blkhds ur self with lbakchead remover device. i got mine 4rom paksitan..use it after steam when blkhds will be easier 2 remove.
other than that for good skin eat fruits on emoty stomach..drink lotsof wter and eat like a handul of almonds each day.

ive had 2 sessions done. i LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVED it!
my skin is combo to dry, and with the past insanely harsh winter that we had, i had disgustin dry flaky patches on my skin, and no matter how much moisturizer i would put on my skin, or watever brand or however many times, the darned skin just won't feel supple and smooth. micro was like magic for me!
if i was a millionaire, id prolly get it done every other week!
hont mere thay, magar in ki..har ek baat thay tum...

1.) Cleanse u're skin with a good cleanser, add a couple of drops rose-water and massage it well (wipe it off with a cotton pad)
2.) Exfoliate with whatever brand u're comfy with in circular motions that are upwards and away from the nose.
3.) Steam: you may hold u're face over a bowl of hot water with a towel over u're head.
4.) Blackhead removal: with the help of pore strips!
5.) Mask: apply u're fav store-bought or home-made mask
6.) Tone: use rosewater, mint juice or u're fav brand
7.) Moisturize: With a heavy moisturizer

I got a facial done at Holt Renfrew (La Prairie) about week and half ago and my Lord, it felt sooooo good! My skin doesn't react well to La Prairie products but the facial itself was a rather "relaxing and enjoyable" experience.

Gina what exactly does a toner, such as rosewater, do for the skin before applying moisturizer?

A toner will close u're pores, that open-up after steaming. If pores aren't closed, dirt and grime get logged and form blackheads and pimples under the skin. It aids in removing all traces of products as well.

ok really, facials can be expensive and the effects are temporary and then you have to get them regularly.
Go for things that have long term effects. your skin will look glowy permanently if you go for the following things. Most important thing is ingredients. dunt forget to check out ingredients in the products you use
- Non soap Cleanser with ' glycolic acid'... dunt use soaps
- Soak a cotton ball in toner and apply in on your face.
- use cleasing pads ( i use the ones with 10 % glycolic acid)
I do these three step every night before applying night cream. It works. I had acne scars and dull dead skin. I feel great about my skin now. Its lively again.
Glycolic acid is like an exfoliating agent too.
Most important thing is exfoliation. If you wont remove dead cell layers from over your skin any product you ll apply on your face wont help much.
- dunt use just regular scrubs, try using Microdermabrasion creams. Loreal has really good one. It really works for me.
- use microdermabrasion cream atleast twice a week.
Do these four things, and your healthy skin in gauranteed in long term. I had acne and other problems. My dermatologist got me with this skin regimen and My skin feels great.
Or go for professional mocrodermabrasion. thats kinda expensive than microdermabrasion creams at home.
