hello ladies,,i need ur help in choosing a gud exfoliant for my skin.nowadys im using clinique's exfoliant cream for dry skin but its not too mild rather i think that my skin gets bit dryness after using it although i use it only twice a week,,,i dont wanna use pure scrubs bcuz they hv hard granuals or particles n the thing called EXFOLIANT has very tiny n fine granuals to clear out the dry layer of skin,,,i thought abut clinique dat would b a gud one but i think the exfoliant im using is not satisfactory as my nose n surrounding area become over dry.plzz share ur experience n suggest a name of brand u r using,,,thnxxxx aloot.

I used to use an apricote scrub .. but the granuales were getting into my pores ... when i would go out into the cold, the pored would close up and and the granules would get stuck within .. i started getting spots ...

my cousin suggested the clinique brand as they use beads ...

Now .. all i do is steam my face once a week sometimes once every two weeks .. it works wonders ... i just exfoliate my skin using my nails gently in circular motions ... u can buy exfoliating pads aswell but my fingernails do the trick quite well ...

steaming also removes black heads.

my skin becomes sooo smooth and not at all dry ...

I make my own scrub....with sugar,lemon,my MD forte cleanser (with glycolic acid)! do it twice a week...

What DO You steam your face with-just water? or do you add some oils etc.?? xx
