dear all
am from uae n about to get married in karachi in october
i am in a dilemma
initially the wedding was to b in uae but on in laws insistence, its to b in khi
i dont knw of either halls or salons in karachi
i'll b staying in clifton
can u all pls help me regarding salons that do decent make up(dont want to look caked up)--(female stylists pls) and arabic style mehndi.
i hav heard of allenora/depilex/fabiolla/sabs but dont knw where they all are located n wud they b near clifton?????
regarding halls, wud lik one with gud security. (location not restricted)--hav to book within 10days
so pls help

You won't look too caked up my dear don't worry. I have experience of Mushkbar Beauty Salon in Karachi. They don't cake you up alot.. they actually do a great job.

Sabs is in Clifton and so are lots of other good ones like Nabila's, Saheen's etc. If you go a bit further to Sheraton you can get Cistere's (upto 30 minutes or so, depending where you are in Clifton). None of them have the caked on look. For wedding venues look for hotles like Marriott, PC Sheraton etc. Or the Creek Club etc. The Clifton Gardens are also a good venue. But I beleiev you ahve to get permission for it for something.

For mehndi meena Bazar is teh best. Even though its far, they can come to your place and do it for you. Though you have to provide pick and drop. If that doesn't work out, ask teh salon you shall be going to. Arabic style mehndi is very popular in Karachi. just see the pics before finaliaing. Good luck!!

want to knw of decent salons (eg.sabs/depilex,etc) near phase5 defence and also near kashmir complex as the wedding wud b there. is it better to go from salon to home n then hall or directly from salon to hall? in this case, is it better to go to a salon close to salon or hall?????????????/

Depliex is not in Clifton its a bit far in Tariq Road though it should be near Kashmir Complex. The rest I mentioned are all in Defense/ Clifton.
