First off Im posting this here in beauty cuz I figured girls would know some totkay/creams and stuff to help me out but mods if you think it belongs in health feel free to move it.
I have very dry sensitive skin and today I woke up with a little redness on my chin at the corners beneath my lips and throughout the day it has just gotten worse. My ENTIRE CHIN is bright red and it tingles and sorta itches and just looks plain horrid. I have no idea what caused this...is it a rash? Is it cuz of dryness? What the hell is it?????? Does anyone know what I might be talking about? My sister recommended I try balmex, a diaper rash cream till I get to see a doctor... I bought it already and its sitting in front of me but Im a bit hesitant to use it... I dont want it to get worse...
PLEASE HELP ME OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

Aloe vera soothes rashes it is a cactus like plant......it is available over the counter.
it is a clear fluid.....however get a second opinion too......good luck!

^ Yup i was going to suggest aloe vera too. You can buy pure aloe vera gel in any health food store it's great for skin conditions.

Sounds like an allergic reaction to me, you definitely need to see a doctor.

I suggest an aloe vera/cucumber gel.. and if u're looking for home-made remedies watermelon pulp.
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Balmex is pretty soothing actually, same with aloe vera.
First you have to find out the cause of this reaction. Have you been using any creams? or been exposed to any allergens like nuts, fish etc? If you go to the doc, he is going to ask you these things anyway so might as well try to think about it now before you forget.
If it's unbearably itchy, take a Benadryl before you go to sleep. It is an antihistamine so it will block the production of the chemical which makes you feel an itch. It also blocks alertness, so that's why I said take it around sleeping time. It's a pretty benign med, even babies take it in syrup.
