Can bleaching cream be used to remove face hair, instead of threading or waxing?does removing face hair by bleaching cream have any side-effects?

i think you mebbe getting confused between bleaching and hair removal cream.
bleaching makes the hair blonde so it's less noticeable. hair removal cream dissolves the hair. it's pretty much like shaving but it's supposed to be less stubbly when it grows back because you aren't cutting the end of the hair blunt with a razor. it's supposed to last longer than shaving too but that claim is dubious.

Bleach doesn't make u're hair longer/thicker... it simply strips the hair of it's color and leaves it lighter.
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Once again, a bleach doesn't change the quality of hair or quantity it simply strips the hair of it's color. I speak from experience/profession as well. YES if u're using a brand that has steroids in it, it's possible. Bleach is hydrogen peroxide and a base cream and both of those don't contain anything that wud make facial hair grow longer or make it coarse.

gina! i did something stupid... basically i had a couple of dark hairs on my face so instead of pulling them out i thought id just bleach them...but when putting on the bleach (jolene) i got a bit carried away & put it on my whole face (cheeks, chin...cos my friend does it & her face luks amazing) anyway i left it on for like 5-8 mins...
i was happy with the result as i could no longer see the dark hairs but then in the week so many ppl said 'oh uv got a lot of hair on ur face' or 'did u bleach ur face' im so paranoid now! & annoyd at myself cos b4 noone noticed a thing (with my dark hairs).
i have fair complexion... & in the sun it luks like i have a furry face lol
so my question is what can i do? does bleach colour sort of disappear over time? im getting married in a months tm so u can imagine im kinda kicking myself for my stupidity...
please help x

Aishii, that's because people saw u with u're bleached hair and when it goes back to it's original color it will be noticeable till u bleach it again. Jolen and Andrea (for the face) are safe to use on the face.
Bleach doesn't make the hair thicker, if u don't thread the sides of u're face and opt for bleaching it will give u the "furry-face"!
Before trying out anything new on u're face PLEASE try a small patch on u're inner arm and check for reactions.
Before bleaching apply baby lotion to u're face, bleach doesn't burn and itch as much and doesn't affect u're skin and acts on just the hair. Creams that are steroid based can cause hair to grow back faster and thicker but regular bleaching creams are a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and a base cream. Hydrogen peroxide strips the melanin (pigment) from the hair and doesn't interfere with the growth etc.

aishii, the hair should more or less go back to normal in a month.
it's just different for everyone. i've being doing my face for years now. and my cousin is getting married soon, her hair is very fine and hardly noticeable so she wasn't even going to thread/wax it (apart from upper lip). but we thought we would try her cheeks etc and it came out amazing. you really can't see them at all and that slightly darkness on her skin caused by the hairs has gone so she looks a lot fresher.
personally i really hate jolene, it's hard to get the mix right and if you don't it won't bleach the hairs properly so they end up more noticeable.

I have used Sally Hansen's bleaching cream and it's better than anything else I have tried before. I hardly do bleaching (probably like twice a year at most) because I heard such scary things that it ruins your skin in the long run, etc.

I have experienced that too and stopped using it. Now I use it only when some special event comes up like twice a year.

I think i know what your talking about. Sometimes if you use too much of the product or you leave it on too long, it will burn your hair off which is not a good thing. When you use facial hair bleach always follow the instrucitons on the amount of cream and bleach powder you use, and also the amount of time you keep it on!
