Don't buy new pants right now!
The Bella Band will be your new best friend...wear it over your usual pants (unzipped/unbuttoned) and they will continue to fit you till well past 20 wks.

Yeah I like the band idea. If you do buy maternity pants now, buy them 1 size bigger than u currently wear, as you will be growing. And depending on how much weight you gain, you may or may not have to buy more pants. you can also be comfy in dresses...depending on the weather.

no khawateen, the band is actually really snug and holds the pants up v v well. it's been a lifesaver to me - v comfortable to wear and i love being able to use my *normal* wardrobe for as long as possible. just make sure you get the right size (i believe the website has sizing info)
remember, the sooner you start wearing your maternity clothes, the sooner you'll get sick of them!!

I'm about 6 months pregnant and in need of new bras. I'm not sure about my new size and they are probably still growing, so what should I get right now? Should I just get a bigger size or buy nursing bras right now?

^ you should get yourself properly measured and then get a proper maternity bra
A good maternity bra is a MUST otherwise you are going to end with love handles in places you are going to regret.

I found it useful to buy a bigger size initially. The maternity pants kept slipping off, until I was well into my 6th month ( I think).
Also they will be pretty useful after you've had a baby, when you cant really fit into your old size , and the maternity pants look ridiculous.
I'd get a nursing bra as well.Get that when you start feeling uncomfortable in your regular ones. But make sure you dont get a super-expensive one, as the size would probably change, especially after the baby's born and your milk comes in.And try to avoid under-wires while your expecting and nursing.
Just get any comfy nursing bra(wonder-bra?) from Wal-mart or some place..
good luck and congrats to all the mommies

Maternity bras are the bras where the cup unhooks from the top so you can feed your baby without any discomfort of removing the bra.
However you will notice that your size has increased and your normal bras are tighter around the sides.
Just invest in some cheap bras to last you through pregnancy with a good support.

also if they sell bra extenders at places like Macy's, Motherhood, etc. You can extend the 'width' of your current bra by adding on the extenders.

^ yep thats right, just make sure the extenders are comfy, sometimes the hooks are pretty uncomfy if you are leaning your back against something hard like a bed or chair.
