Hey....I have been experimenting with my old"ish" jeans that I do not like very very much and utilize them for creating either shorts or skirts and even tote bags..... sometimes I really am able to craft the end product in a way that I really am happy about it sometimes I fail.....

My question to gals over here is, how do you use the old jeans (provided you have decided that you are not gonna wear it "As-Is"...and you need to create sumthin outa it with your creativity)....meaning what do you create of it?

Second question is, are there any particular tips that I should be keeping in mind while cutting and stitching...like for creating a shorts with my jeans....or a bag for casual use....

Any ideas and suggestions would be highly appreciated...as alwayz!

Jeans can never be old...! *gasp*
I buy my shorts - Can't get a good fit with make-shift shorts.
I don't do denim bags.

Best use =
Use them as waxing strips. Best material to use - second only to the ready-made store brands.

I totally agree that jeans can never be old...and I am jeans freak..... but what happens is that I am trying to follow a simple policy...if I have not worn the jeans in last five/six months then it has to go... coz I do buy at least three/four jeans every month but there are ones that are three/four years old and I still love to wear em'....

but I was talking about "not so favorite" ones..................like are you getting me...what I am trying to say!
