Has anyone tripped over in high heels and a sari. My friend was in a sari and 3 inch heels and she was scared that she would fall, and she did.

If you're not comfortable in heels, don't wear them.

You'll trip no matter what you're wearing.

Few years ago we were invited in an aqiqa ceremony of our cousin's kids in hall in karachi, his wife wore sari and high heel, in that function my cousin sister also wore heel shoes and one lady also wore the same, and those all three ladies tripped due to heel with a little time difference, the mother of kids (jin ka aqiqa tha) fell in front of stage where her kids are sitting and the funny part is video maker made video and when my cousin tripped she fell on the kid behind her and his mother shouted kay dekh kay nahi chal sakteen, meray bachay kay oper hi girna tha.

WE NEED BLESSINGS OF ALLAH.

Another thing my friend did was try to run in heels and sari, she slipped on her knees.

hahaha... that mustve been embrassing but funny too i always wear heels with sari and i have never fallen????? i wear atleast 2 inche heels.. not much. maybe the reason they fall is becus their sari is literally touchin the ground and then the heels come in the way.. make sure ur sari is not very long... thaz gonna b a disaster.

I have worn 4 inch heels with saris and touchwood have never fallen or tripped. I think that happens when ur petticoat and sari aren't the same level. You shud put ur heels on before you wear ur petticoat and then drape the sari. It shud hang 1cm above the floor with ur heels. Most ppl don't have practise walking in saris. When i first became a fan i bought a cheap one and wore it round the house, did my housework etc in it. This way you become used to sitting, walking and even crouching down in them.(u have to if u have kids) so try it girls.

The tripping over isnt due to the heels, its how they are walking in the sari. One little trick is to kick the sari as your walking. Also it helps if it is tied properly!

I understand, I just don't care.

walk with your back straight and keep your feet a little apart when you stand and walk without too much pressure on toes only.

Difference between God and humankind: God can say, 'be', and it becomes, but humankind has to act on what it says.
