It's great for acne prone skin use it along with tea-tree oil! It's also great for sunburnt skin!
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

I bought an aloe vera plant from IKEA. I break off the branches and squeeze out a bit of gel and use it on my face. I have sensitive skin and it has made my skin so soft as well as firm. It also is good to even out skin tone, well that's what I have found.
Use it in conjuntion with tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is a good antiseptic and is good for getting rid of pimples. More so that aloe vera.

agreed!
aloe is an excellent moisturiser and great for sensitive skin. you can easily buy tubes of 99.9% aloe gel if you can't be fussed with the plant itself.
for those with acne - you can buy aloe gel to drink, it's a bit expensive but it's worked wonders for some people i know. there are also tablets and a juice drink available but i think these are less effective. aloe applied externally won't do much for spots.
everyone should have tea tree oil or witch hazel to apply to the face after waxing/threading etc to stop pimples, or just generally apply to any pimples or spots that may come up.

well tea tree oil is really for if you have any spots or anything. you can buy tea tree oil in little dropper bottles from the body shop, it's dilute enough to apply directly to skin, so if you just put some on a cotton pad and dab it on any spots before you sleep it should do the trick. especially if you can feel a spot coming up but it hasn't yet - it will usually go away with a little bit of tea tree oil.
