I'm interested to know how the ladies here dress on a day-to-day... what is your fashion style... do you have a particular style of dressing or does it vary from day to day or on how you feel? Bohemian, chic, retro, classic, urban, sporty, punk/rock, preppy, brand name addict, ultra feminine.. etc
it's the heart afraid of dying, that never learns to dance; It's the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance; It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give; And the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live.

Well i dress my own way, i buy and wear wat the eyes like, be it cheap or name brand, i have to feel feminine and comfortable,
when i am at home il dress casual (most of the time in my track suit bottoms) but when i go out on occasions il make an effort and wear bright colours

My style is a mix max .. At times it can be pretty femini and other times very laid back and casual. But usually I prefer to wear something in which I will feel comfy. And my style is very simple. I love simple things with details and I hate to overdo anything.
Everyday uni clothes is jeans with a nice top and flat ballerina's or in winter boots with a small heel. I wear minimal heels as I'm already tall and well I dont really find it too comfy wandering around in heels alll the time either. Colorwise I think I'm very much on the dark side - not that I dont wear light colors at all - but most of my clothes are black, different sort of greys, browns etc.

^I would love to wear baggy jeans too .. I just end up looking a bit odd, dont think I got the figure for it. Bootcut and straight legs work best for me ..

hmmm.. interesting topic Riya..... but it is hard to put my thoughts into words coz' I dress totally different for summers and winters, like in winters unlike most of my coleagues I would try to go with color.......like my jackets would be say of of white or white color as opposed to 99% wearing blacks in my office.
But I tend to dress in lighter and pastel shades during day and darker shades at night...dunno...but I have gone into this habit ....unconsciously...
I like to pay attention to some of the things that I have right kinda shoes and bags and also very light make-up especially lip gloss and nail enamel to make me feel dressed up.....
Me, being totally impulsive buyer......has impulsive sense of style as well....ranging from totally bohemian to ultra feminine....dunno...but it just is very unpredictable even for my ownself!

My style changes a lot. Ive done bohemian, chic, retro, classic, urban, sporty, punk/rock (these were bad days), preppy, brand name addict, ultra feminine, etc. All of it. I like to follow seasons so I would say trendy but classic. I always buy a few peices of whats happening now but I have a lot of timeless articles.
The things I focus on would be my hair, nails, shoes and BAG. If you have a good bag, it can save the day for you if you decided to step out in trackies and look like a slob. You are automatically forgiven. IMHO.

I <3 skinny jeans a ballet flats, but we can't wear jeans to work anymore since the summer dress code is over. So i usually wear dress pants and a comfy shirt.

Suits I used to love all my pants/blazers with different shirts/blouses/silk camisoles and accessorizing them with different jewelry and of course sexy heels but lately, I am starting to miss my jeans so much! I usually just wear pjs after coming back home so don't get a chance to dress up casually so much anymore.. just on the weekends.
But more than anything, I just adore and take pride in all the desi clothing I own This year I went all out for my Nikkah and ordered so many patialas, long shirts with pants, lehngas, ghararas, chooridars and sarees!

WHile going out or to school, i dress either in stylish, various colored abayas or long dresses with pants. Havent work jeans in a while. For get togethers, i stick to formal shalwar suits, saris, chooridars etc. At home, i try to dress up for hubs in formals or semi formals every so often because he likes it and appreciates the effort.

really sober. feminine light pastels and dark solids. pinks not reds. earthen not shimmer or glitter.
Difference between God and humankind: God can say, 'be', and it becomes, but humankind has to act on what it says.
