Good morning! Or so it is here in Chitown.
So we all know how important sunscreen is. I have a really good one by Clinique...its SPF 40 but it leaves this white color on my face even though its supposedly tinted (its not). Im a little "sanwali" so unless I put loads of makeup on, I look a bit pale.
What do you guys do? How do you wear sunscreen without the goopy whitish look? Is there a brand you all know of that doesnt have that white look? Maybe a foundation or brightener you could suggest with a high SPF?
I have to wear a decent sunscreen with a good SPF right now but I hate having that white layer on my face. I like a glowing natural look.

they all have that problem...no matter which brand you use.
you can
a)mix it with foundation, a shade darker than you normally use.
b)mix it with your moisturizer.

u only get the white face with sunscreens that have a physical blocking agent such as titanium/zinc oxide in them. if you use a chemical one (based on avobenzone for example) u wont get a white cast.
Clarins UV plus 40 (i think thats what its called) is a physical sunscreen but the white case from it isnt so bad. I also like sofina lucent (u gotta order from hong kong).

I use sun screen by DDF, Organic Sun Protection, UV moisturizer SPF of 30. You can get it from sephora.
Its not sticky at all and it goes on clear and it does not burn my eyes.

I think a sunblock is better than the sunscreen because it doesn't let you tan or have those uneven skin discolorations.

I use Neutrogena's sensitive skin sun screen. It doesn't leave a white film.

^^lol...no exceptional talents needed...all u gotta do it do the GOOGLE
there is so much info on the internet these days...if u're good at research you can get a fairly good idea about things after a while.
i know for sure sofina works because i used it the entire time i was in pakistan...i went shopping almost everyday and i didnt tan at all...the only thing is you might need to remove it with a special oil based cleanser because it literally forms a film on your face to protect from the suns rays. regular cleanser wont take it off and that might cause breakouts. Many japanese brands make oil cleansers that u have to follow with soap afterwards. So yeah the routine is kinda fussy.

Most foundations these days come with spf so there is no need to apply a sunscreen before the foundations.
I prefer MDFormulations

thaz true Adra but the SPF is mostly 15 or 20 max in these kinds of foundations. if one is livin in a country like UAE u need min 20 and max 50 SPF so u have no choice but to put sunblock/screen before puttin foundation.

u can try Bobodave Online Shop ???
they sell it for $30 plus shipping. be sure you use some kind of oil or oil-based cleanser to remove it followed with your regular cleanser. many companies make oil-based cleansers but u can just use plain ol coconut oil or jojoba oil.
