WHat is the best way to remove makeup?

a few years ago while on vacation, i decided to wear waterproof mascara to the beach and when i tried taking it off later that night, it was all clumpy and would not come off even though i was using a supposedly 'good' makeup cleanser.. so i went online and googled.. and was surprised to see peoples' recommendations to use baby shampoo for removing makeup especially eye stuff. so i used that and viola, i still do.. it works really well.. also, ever since adra got me hooked on cetaphil facewash, it has been a great makeup remover as well.

you take a drop or two, rub it onto your hands to make lather.. and then use it on your eyes, face, wherever. it's very mild so it doesn't make you tear and doesn't irritate the skin either. i massage it around my eyes and on the lashes to get all the makeup off because i hate for any residue to be left over.. my eyes need to be cleaned well because they are sensitive and they get irritated if makeup is left on for long.

am not sure about baby shampoo...but i always use baby oil...it removes everything in just seconds....but it makes ur face very oily..

I like Clinique's Rinse Off Eye Makeup Solvent. I have very sensitive eyes and many removers irritate them, but not this one

But Im going to try the baby shampoo!

all the makeup removers ive tried so far leave my face sticky (icky!) so i just use good old fashioned vaseline to remove the eye makeup and then i wash my face with a mild cleanser, i like the squeaky clean feeling!

Like I said earlier, even Cetaphil works GREAT for removing makeup.. as well as being mild enough to not irritate skin.

I dont bother with removers, just use Cetaphil face wash and it does the trick.

But then again I dont wear mascaras or eyeliners that often. If I do i remove those with Oil

No, its designed for babies and it doesnt sting eyes otherwise we'd have screaming babies everywhere refusing to take a bath.

Lancome's Bifacil makeup remover works really well for me. Its mild, removes makeup really well and leaves your skin very soft.

Rub your eyes...for eye makeup...and then sleep with the rest...viola ...all gone in the morning ...You would have to launder you pillow more often though

I use the Clinique's 3 system and its been great. I bought the big bottles and its been an year and they ar still not finished.

yeah and lancome has an amazing eyes makeup remover, I got that one with my mascara set.

FACE WIPES ALL THE WAY...Ive used a lot of makeup removers and this is the best option by far..

Im in UK and I just get the asda makes, you get 3 packets for 2 quid..each packet has about 100 wipes...1 wipes takes all the makeup from your face....so I hardly ever need to buy anymore..

4 my wedding night I used 2 wipes....so u can imagine how easy it must be 2 remove.....

The best eye make up remover is Lancome Bi-Facil.

Simple facial wipes are really good too. But I always use them just to double check after I have cleansed first, for some reason I feel that with a wipe im just spread all the dirt around...chi!
