Anyone hear of this designer? Anyone have any pictures of his work?
He is Indian but supposedly has a very modern/contemporary touch.

PS, I have been to one of his showrooms in Delhi. It's OK. More hoohaa than it's really worth I think.
However, here's one of his sarees from some Indian drama:

Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open...

Mandira Bedi wears Satya Paul sarees almost all the time and I totally adore her bold and contemporary, mostly chiffon, sarees.
I'm not too sure but I've heard that Pooja Boutique, which is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, carries Satya Paul sarees and other wears.

I saw one of his sarees in a shop on Devon and it was verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry pretty! Its a mustard colored sari with black blotches througout. No kaam, simple chiffon. Very chic and classy looking, I bought it even though it was a pretty penny.
Nik, thanks for posting the pic. What do you think of his stuff? You've been to a boutique of his, right?

The quality of his work and the tailoring are superior no doubt. His chiffon sarees are excellent. Some of his mens wear is quite nice too. I wasn't too impressed with his heavy sarees. I've seen better at some other stores. Nothing unique I should say.

His printed chiffon sari's are really nice...u can get their tailor to make u're blouse as well. He had double-shaded chiffon that was printed..it was lovely.
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

I was kind of fond of his digitally printed saris, but they were all made up of animal prints, with like dolphins and giraffes printed on them...(sigh) ahhh such a shame

Ziggy.......... actually if you look in the saree section of his website, there is an embellished sarees section. Those sarees also have digital prints, but not animals. My cousin got the orange flower saree, and it looked very striking on her.
