What the verdict on Bio Oil? I read that it is great for skin clarity, helps in fading blemishes and pigmentation and all that good stuff. Now that it is available in the US, I wanted to hear your reviews before I spend my $20!!!

You can buy it at Walmart.. but not every one of them carry it so you might have to call and find out.
I have heard great things about it as well... but still haven't tried it.

Niksik, please update us with your experience with Bio Oil if you do decide to buy it. I've been itching to purchase it too but something stops me from doing so because I've oily skin and I don't want to use something that would make my skin condition worse. However, I have read quite good reviews about it on makeup alley and that it doesn't leave any greasy residue on skin...I might also give it a shot.

wishkamar, that is one of the reasons why I'm hesitant to use it as well. I have an oily skin and I'm afraid I'll breakout. That's why I wanted someone's testimony.

Instead I would recommend buy Trilogy Certified Rosehip Oil, I had some dark patches near my chin and neck area that I got after the pregnancy. After hearing Adr singing in all praises of it, I tried it and had to order from AUS but it was worth it, after 3 weeks the scars have gotten lighter so much that now I can go out without foundation/makeup on it, before it was a no no. My face skin is also much better and I dont need any cream on my face anymore, its enough if I use Rosehip oil everynight before going to bed, after cleaning my face. :-)
ps. I had dry to mixed skin.

Saadia, I too ordered Trilogy's Rosehip after hearing from Adra. They need to pay her some rewards for such good advertising!
I love it. It makes the skin very soft and clear. I guess I'll stick to that.

I use facial oils as moisturisers (have dry sensitive skin) and I gotta say that Bio Oil wasn't really worth all the hype. It's good as a moisturiser but didn't do anything else apart from moisturise. I use the Trilogy Rosehip Oil as well, it's the best one I've used to date. Sometimes I dilute it down with some organic almond oil as the smell can be quite strong sometimes.

Bio Oil Sux. Big time.
Dont waste money on it as it doesnt do jack.
As for Rosehip Oil, Im six months into using it now, I had a dark mark on the far side of my left cheek which has almost gone away.
The scar on my forehead which Ive had since 16 is almost gone too. Nobody can tell its there unless they know it was there previously.
The best thing about it is that It doesnt clog pores, I havent noticed a single blackhead.
I went and bout Trilogy's eyecream too and it just does instant repairs, so loving it.

Im using the Trilogy's Engergizing Face lotion for the face during day time under makeup.
And Trilogy's Eye Cream.
Both are doing a good job.
