interesting! im just thinking....the pallu is made in a way that it goes on two sides, and there's a belt underneath, at teh waist. so u'd wrap/hook the saree, throwthe pallu over the shoulders and hook the belt in the back.. right?
i think it looks cool go for it

I don't think i can wear this sari if its hard for me to handle one pallu....
It only takes a minute to find a special person..an hour to appreciate them..a day to love them.. but an entire lifetime to forget them.

the pallu on this one looks easier to handle, b/c it's thinner...since it's draped on both sides, it's kind of like having a duputta on.....

here's the link to the FB group Www.facebook.com/home.php#/home.php?ref=logo
or do a search for "designer indian sarees and jewellery"
i know two sisters resp for the shipping in the US ...
yeah i think b/c it pure chiffon its so expensive...but im mainly pissed about the lack of color choices...and know that i can probably get it cheaper in pak i wear desi stuff once or twice anyways so i cant justify spending more than $100 on one outfit.

no i dont think so.. it does look good with white also, in a graceful greece way
hehe. Anyway i guess wearing saree with belt is really a good trend which we sometimes should follow regardless whatever colour it is.
I still didnt get how the model wears that blue saree... It is thanked to the blouse with some particular design, or the pallu has 2 "wings" ????

I also personally think that it will be better looking in white and golden colours... And yes do not buy online unless you have no other choice, it is a high risk to buy online where you can not tell them what you want the saree exactly to be (colour, fabric, design so on...). I guess you just like the STYLE of this saree, but u must havent totally done about the laces... borders...kaam... so on.
Better to make it in Pakistan, you will be very good looking in this style, but not this kind of blue (i dont know why i hate this blue lol), mashallah :hur ray:

thanks for that...she looks pretty....that definitely gives me a better idea of how it would look. I dont mind it looking too greek because thats the look i wanna go for without ...i dont know i guess theres no way to without being too obvious about it lol.
i think the pallu has two wings. dunno...it's the darzi's job to make it happen!

It looks like the two wings are part of hte pallu, and there is a belt attached to it, that will close at the back. the blouse also looks very short, so in the back ou would see the blouse, the belt and the "wings"......
Good luck getting someone to do it!

Sweets, it looks pretty.
The yellow and white saris don't have two wing pallos, it seems like they have a belt on a regular sari.
May Allah bring peace in Pakistan. Ameen

This one looks like a butterfly-pallu saree with a belt, and the blouse stitched in a certain way.

Regular saree with a belt and a brooch at the shoulder...
