Ive heard this makeup is the purest makeup available.
Is this true?
Do any of you use her products? Now or in the past?

I LOVE Jane Iredale and have been a die hard fan of this brand for nearly a decade now. I have very hypersensitive skin which reacts to anything new, this is the only thing that covers and heals it (cos of the high zinc content) with no side effects. And I can sleep in it too without feeling too guilty since I know I'm not harming my skin by doing so

The makeup is really nice, but it doesn't cater to most "sanwali" skins the colors don't compliment olive skin-tones.. and even mineral makeup harm's u're skin and all traces of it shud be removed before going to bed
It's safer to use and many derms suggest using it after procedures, but it needs to be removed and u're skin needs to "breathe".
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Thank you Gina...was hoping you would check this thread!
Do you think its a good idea for sensitive skin? Right now my skin is used to basic Lancome powder, some foundation once a week or so and thats pretty much it.

I disagree that Jane iredale doesn't suit asian skintones. They shades for almost everyone including the very dark skin like afro carribean etc etc.
Another thing about mineral make up in general is that you don't have to get as exact a shade as you do with other types of foundation as it blends so well and still lets your natural skin tone reflect through. I

It's ideal for sensitive skin PSQ, I however find it really diff to get complimenting colors for dusky complexions.. same thing with Clinique, I love their makeup but the colors don't work for "desi" complexions.
Brit Chick, it's usually about u're undertones Afro/Carib complexions have blue undertones where olive complexions have yellow undertones.
PSQ, stick to whatever works for u.. no harm in trying it though
