What might prevent that from happening is if you substitute the final layer of black (i.e. the v shape) with a soft slightly dark brown. It would really make you look naturally beautiful.
Also a little extra tid-bit, to get a "glowing affect" that you see alot of the times on the models and wonder "wow what are they doing to get that?" Just get some very light shimmer white or cream color eyeshadow. something very soft in color. And then with one or two strokes (remember less is more!) put it on your high cheeck bones. It will really add to your features and make you look like you just walked out of a photo shoot. I would use a fan brush for this
Another tid bit I learned too (unfortunatly from experience)...dooont make your lip liner a much darker shade then your lipstick. Seriosly. It really doesnt look good. You;ll just end up looking like michel jackson who put on lipliner in the dark. Find lip liner shades that are close to the lipstick shades. You just want to accent your lips not make them look like a clown drew them on for you.
Another tid bit to get your face looking like it has a glowing affect is to take some bronzer and very lightly make a C shape on both sides of your face. So starting from your forhead to your chin on the left side and then again on the right. It gives a nice natural glow.
If I were you, seriosly, go to Sephora. They have people working there who are professional make up artists. Just bring them a sample of your clothing or just describe what you want and they will get all of the stuff you need. Then write down those names of the products and buy them on ebay for half the price
