I'm looking for a new moisturizer.

I'm not looking for a miracle product, just something I can use everyday. I've had decent experiences with othe r brands but i like to try new things.. my face is more on the drier side, the only brand that doenst agree iwht me is Neutrogena. Everything else i"m willing to try (err thats less than $25).

Its just overwhelming going into CVS/walgreens and seeing the zillions of brands/sub-brands of facial mositurizers.

Bodyshop's vitamin E cream is really good one. They have a day cream with SPF and a night cream that is richer and thicker in texture.

ive been using vit E cream frm body shop (for all skin types) since 1 month or more. i expected itll make my skin soft and all moisturised but it is absorbed so quickly... i never feel soft... so i thot somethin is wrong, so i got a new body shop vit e crem (for v dry skin) i hope that works. i like both these cus its for day and nite. either case, i wudnt use it at day time cus i put on a sunscreen which is moisturising too. but b warned, body shop can b a bit expensive. atleast for me!

Have you tried Boots No 7? It's a British cosmetic line that is sold at Target. I like their day moisturizing lotion. I think it's called moisture quench. I like Pond's rich hydrating cream as well

Boots No7 protect & perfect day cream is good, its quite rich so it should b good for dry skin. Otherwise Boots also have Time Delay moisturiser which I love.

Coldturkey

Throughout my life, i've use pretty much most of Body Shops cream ranges, each cream type for when my skin was going through a different stage of life

tea tree - teenage years, for blemish prone skin

Seaweed - just coming out of teenage years, but skin was still combination type, so i used this

Vit E - this is the only cream that DID NOT suit my skin. i got itchy red bumps on my face! But maybe it wasn't right for my skin type back then. Vit E is recommended for normal skin, so maybe it's worth trying again, after the above comments?

Aloe Vera - this one i currently use. Suitable for sensitive skin, it is my saviour! the night cream is the best. It really calms my skin overnight

I went through a stage of buying 'the most expensive' creams on the market (ranging from 100 to 300 pounds.. shhh). But i must say the one place that has always been good to me (and my hubbys pocket) is Body Shop. Even those creams that are only available behind the counter (not displayed on show cos they're too expensive) are so not worth it. They do nothing, you are paying for the packaging.

Another thing i would recommend everyone to start using is Boots No7 Protect and perfect beauty serum. My sister in law recently gave me this (was she trying to tell me i'm looking old??!) It is one of the only SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN face products one the market that is proven to actually work, giving you smooth, wrinkle free skin. Everyone should use this inder there normal moisturizer. i remember last year this product sold out in days! And it is not expensive either!

So start using it now, no matter what your age. You can thank me for this tip in 10 years, when you look half your age

Don't know your age, but if you're beginning to consider anti-aging products, Olay Regenerist is really great and has tested as being a much more effective moisturizer than dozens of very expensive boutique/designer creams. I use it and am very, very satisfied. Regular Oil of Olayalso worked nicely for me before I started using the Regenerist line.

I really truly like Avon's liiv botanical moisturiser. It does not leave my greasy like other brands (i have oilish skin) and controls the flakiness.

I"ve been hearing abt mc's strobe light cream or something. Is it a moisturizer or a primer?

Sara, if your skin is drier at places then I think you should use a moisturizer before using strobe or mix it with your moisturizer because it does moisturizer but I find that it's more of that glowy look you get from it....very light weight. I recently bought Mary kay's oil free gel moisturizer and I really like it! it absorbs into your skin without making it greasy and gives such a smooth finish..i feel like i am wearing a primer under my foundation..foundation goes on so smoothly.
