so iA im going to Lahore soon 2 visit my family there...recently alot of my friends went and brought back some clothes that have a western and pakistani touch to them that u can wear on desi and american occasions...very funkyy & beautiful!! i asked them from what shop the got them from and they were hesistant on telling me. i was wondering if you guys know any good shops where i can find something like that...? THANKS!

i hav never looked for western clothes in pak but some places to look at might b Chen one, Leisure Club(by bareeze).I dunno if theres an Outfitter,Maysoon and Crossroads in lhr.u can also chk for Fnk Asia by Amir Adnan.Store on Fortess stadium and M.M Alam road.I bought some nice kurtis from New Orega.

u can also print pix of styles u like or create ur own by getting fabric n material n get it done on ur own.

boutiques in fortress r quite good but now i dont buy readymade outfits..this jan i was in lhr and i didnt buy a single outfit from there...nothing attracted me there..i suggest u buy ur own stuff and then do the designing accordingly to give it some diff funky touch

i usually get work done on my clothes from those litle shops in Main Market. i prefer getting on my own work done but however it never feels satisfying

the work which is being done in the shops of main market is really adorable...i also like the shops at the back of liberty market where they do some kaam on clothes...get ur own work done...some shops at M.M.Alam road r really very nice...so just visit the shops around gulberg and u wud get what u want

..if u want to give really reasonable charges then better options r ichchra...and saddar market in lahroe cantt...like i wanted some really nice work on the kurtis so i bought the stuff from liberty and as they were just kurtis so i wanted to get the work done within Rs.500 only for each kurti...i visited both the markets i.e. liberty and saddar...first of all i only did the survey regarding the work and the prices and i found saddar more reasonable for the work..and that was really worth-praising..so just put little bit of effort and some khawari ofcourse...good luck !

^some khawawri is fine otherwise those kaam walas n darzis drive u nuts.even the shops that sell fabic confuses me so bad by opening Thaan after Thaan that i either end up buying too much or nothing at all.

^^ lol so true! everytime i visit pakistan the darzis NEVER have my clothes ready on time, once i even got my clothes 3hours b4 i left 4 my flight!

yaaar saddar mai chali jao...sub shops reasonable hain aur wo sub ek he jaga pur yeh know addaa laga hua hai...to wo bilkul saih charge kray hain...ek kurti ki embroidery muje sirf 250 dainee pari...jub k mera budget 500 tuk ka tha..just thori bargaining krao..kuch unki mano kuch upni munwao aisay he chulta hai...baki shop ka naam to suchi bata hai muje yad nai hai..ap ek baar waha chalay jao naam kon diakhta hai...kaam pur he nazar rehti hai

..jis ka kaam acha lagaye ussay kra lia...

yar kurtis to fancy he achi lugti hain muje...hur ek ka upna taste hota hai..mainay to as a trial sirf 3 he bunwayen theen bcz mera first experience tha scratch say kaam krwanay ka ...ub jub dubara jaungi pak to aur bunwa lungi...un 3 mai say 1 pur to mainay gottay ka kaam kraya tha..wo muje 550 ka para tha including material like gotta kinari and lugwaye ..stuff ki price issmai shamil nai hai....gulla..bazoo aur ghairay pur kraya tha...2nd pur embroidery thee gulla aur bazoo pur sirf..wo 275 ka tha.. 3rd pur kundun ka kaam tha..gulla bazoo only...hmmm 375 i think...ya 400 issay zayda nai thay...
